After a series of collaborations and remixes with many prominent artists PALLADIAN is coming back to take the leap with their first long release on Loci Records.

Ocra is a collection of memories, sceneries, visions, and hopes related to “ochre”, a colour that evokes a certain warm feeling dear to the artist. Something that is not tangible, yet familiar.

Their experience living in a Mediterranean environment and the desire to travel to far away territories are the driving forces behind the production of this work.

Plucked kora, bowed strings, wooden percussion, and outlandish vocals are some of the sounds chosen to communicate this sense of warmth and mysticism throughout the whole album.

Additionally, the artwork and the titles of the songs contribute to create an imaginary moodboard with different shades of this telluric colour.

Deezy (@deezys) is an Arab-American DJ based in San Francisco and one of the co-founders of QUICHE, a party series that provides stages to emerging and established queer DJ’s. Influenced by his upbringing in Detroit, he’s developed a decade-long obsession for collecting and curating a wide range of dance music that reflects his passion for the history of the craft. This mix presents a selection of timeless house cuts that reflect on the urgency of the dance floor to “let your body be free”, a sentiment all too important in our current political moment.

Craft Music's Good For Dance series continues with its second instalment and this one has been curated by none other than DJ Craft himself. Joining him are talented pals Schmoltz, Bogdan Ra, Romain FX, and Outra, also known as Joutro Mundo. These deep diggers are celebrated for their prowess in unearthing hidden gems and transforming them into dancefloor anthems and that's what they do here as each artist brings a unique flavour to the mix. Schmoltz's 'Luv The States' is a peak-time percussive disco jam, Bogdan Ra brings some slap-funk drums and glossy Italo synths and 'Tell Me Why' has crunchy drums and jagged synth stabs before a camp closer in 'Colosso'.

Utrecht-based producer Frenquency joins International Chrome's Data Planet, the series of cassette tapes to introduce the finest new artists to the wider world. 

Across ten tracks, Frenquency makes a melting pot of club and dance sounds, past and present, including Trap, Aquacrunk, Jungle, Footwork, UK Garage, Baile Funk, Juke and R&B then displays a truly dizzying ability to meld them into an album overflowing with idea and a sense of openness and playfulness.

Coming straight from Marseille, they are as good friends behind the decks as in life, and both manage the label Don’t Need A Million which highlights the emerging French scene.

During a release party at the Rex club in Paris organized by the Pont Neuf label in 2019, Trax magazine presented the Dub Stiker as « the young tenors of French house » with Ethyène, Tour-Maubourg, Vitess, KX9000 and Deborah Aime La Bagarre.

Studio accomplices for 10 years, it was in 2017 that they revealed themselves to the world with their release on STRCTR, where their strong title « Mood » appeared alongside the other classics « Please Stay » and « Decompression » by Matthieu Faubourg and Harrison BDP.
Since then, they have confirmed with remarkable releases on Hustler Trax, Maestropolis, or even on Happiness Therapy.
