With his "Emotional Engineering" EP, Parco Palaz aka Nicola-Miloš Mišić delivers a brilliant opening for the new digital catalog of SNC Recs.
The Basel-based producer and DJ with a background in composition and sound design for film has already demonstrated his skills with his first EPs "Motorsport" (2018) and "Surface" (2020) on Akoya Circle, and most recently released his first album with the delightfully descriptive title "Lightning Struck a Tree" on Turbo Life Tapes.
With "Emotional Engineering" on SNC he now raises the bar again in terms of sonic diversity and takes his listeners on a carefully composed musical trip beneath the surface, right into the spheres of the subconscious, with the titling of the individual tracks being entirely in the spirit of biochemistry. Electrifying breakbeats merge here with complex melodies to create a powerful, psychoactive sound experience. While the first two tracks with their slightly dreamy atmosphere offer a dynamic as well as harmonious introduction, the sonic spectrum of the EP is subsequently fanned out even further.
With his first release on SNC records, Parco Palaz has created a multi-layered psychogram of an ambitious composer that makes you want to listen to it over and over again.

Larmour, the UK-born and Tbilisi Georgia-based artist, is set to release his upcoming 'False Thoughts EP' on March 3rd via MOTE Records, aka Mood Of The Era. The EP takes listeners on a journey through Larmour's personal experiences and emotions as he navigates a new country and discovers the challenges and triumphs of life in a new place.

The 'False Thoughts EP' showcases Larmour's love for breaks, combined with a rich tapestry of emotions, from love to pain, loneliness, joy, and nostalgia. The four tracks on the EP, including the title track 'False Thoughts,' '52Down', 'Over' and the highly-anticipated 'N.A,' offer a glimpse into Larmour's world and provide a moving, danceable soundscape that explores the complexities of human emotions.

Up first is L&F, offering us some bass laden UKG badness, followed by Cabale with a tasty slice of piano and pad infused 2-step. Awlies comes through on a sublime and magical breakbeat tip, while Helter lands some twisted yet delightful breaks and bass business. Neathway & Alter hit the halfway mark of the compilation: a tidy piece of jungle action reminiscent of the genres 90s heyday. Up next is Withheld producing a soulful yet energetic drum and bass stunner, followed by Charleeps with a transcendent and acidy yet melancholic electro-breakbeat number. Aevasyon delivers some gorgeous, retro-tinged breakbeat vibes and Talihatta brings the energy down with some clever and subtle downtempo. Finally, Citizen Pablo rounds things off creating an ethereal breakbeat track, wrapping up this superb VA.
