Shuffle Valley kicks off its vinyl journey with a debut EP from label head Donnie Cosmo, presenting three original cuts that move through groove, breaks, and deeper sonic moods—plus a refined remix by Christopher Ledger.

The A1 sets the tone with a warm, groove-driven track aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Elastic basslines and shimmering percussion give it a rolling energy, while subtle psychedelic flourishes invite a kind of movement that’s both physical and inward.

Let Yourself Go ventures into the breakbeat territory, playing with loose, broken rhythms before smoothly transitioning into a steady 4/4 pulse. It’s a shape-shifter—fluid, unpredictable, and full of momentum.

The third original dives deeper. Hypnotic and introspective, it leans into a more mental space—spacey yet grounded, contemplative yet still groovy. 

Closing the EP, talented Christopher Ledger offers a sleek rework of A2, adding space, clarity, and emotional weight. His remix floats with precision, enhancing the atmosphere while staying true to the original’s mood—a fitting final note for Shuffle Valley’s first vinyl chapter.

JIVE CIRCUIT: ‘’Jive Circuit is the creative partnership of two Berlin-based artists whose music blurs the boundaries between electro, funk, and Detroit house. However, both draw inspiration from outside of club music, striking a balance between track and song. Henry, known for his work as Henry3000, and Phyzikal Flex, runs the label Doom Chakra Tapes and has released on esteemed imprints like Warning, Oiwa Records and Magic Carpet. The closer is big-hearted but still floor-focused. Gloria Illesi delivers soul without sugar, elevating the groove with understated power. An emotional pressure point—uplifting, but still club-ready.

Verdict
Horny Samurai EP is Brando in peak form: four proper tools, built with intent and never overcooked. With Gloria Illesi lending her voice on two standout cuts, there’s a new emotional edge to the weight. Flexi knew exactly what they were doing—this one's for the heads, the dancers, and the late-night selectors alike.

Dreamy dance and chill sounds. Glo Phase is the solo project of Los Angeles-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Joseph Rusnak. With a deep background in electronic production, live performance, and sound design, his work as Glo Phase fuses ambient textures with rhythmic structure—balancing introspective atmospheres and kinetic energy. His releases have appeared on labels such as 100% Silk, Constellation Tatsu, Stasis Recordings, Whiskey Pickle, Image Research, and Low Recordings. Live performances range from immersive, hardware-based sets built around analog gear to conventional DJ sets; each offering a mood-driven reinterpretation of his recordings.

Nagasawa kicks off with a bang. “ChuKii” is a peak time heater: breaks, chopped vocals and punchy toms sear over a low end groove that proves body music can funk. Melodic acid explodes like a firework mid-track, taking the dance floor to psychedelic new heights.

The club psychedelia continues with “Mold Mold”, a minimal, subterranean system roller adorned with swells, bells, and deep, guttural growls dubbed to the vanishing point.

“Sant Esteve (kko Edit)” is melancholic and contemplative jazz house, eschewing cliché and twinging with nostalgia for that moment you felt most free.

“Humor is an important part of my music”, boys be kko reflected over lunch as Izakaya smoke billowed past his face. “Oignon”, the fourth and final track on Nagasawa, is an airy and joyful cut of sampledelia that makes good on this promise. An enormous smile of a track, it sends listeners off with a slice of sonic sunshine and, dare we say, hope.
