A quartet of the meanest cuts to grace the label for a minute as he pulls no punches on propulsion. Hurtling through the temporal plane at break-neck speed.

Proper strapping accelerators rooted somewhere between third portal freak-out and girder-strength tech house flex. All four built like a brick shithouse, but the foundations have given out and we’re falling down a wormhole. Transcending epochs and realities with one foot in the free party and another in the big room.

Organ synth, searing 303 and lysergic flourish in abundance. Synths darting, drums impeccable.

Trippier than we’ve come to expect from the Talman Records founder, but no diminishing returns on dancefloor potency.

PREMIERE: Random Memory - Feel Alive [Pigment Records]

Mexican electronic music artist Pinto, a rapidly rising force and founding member of Vatos Locos, is set to release his "Talismán" EP on Duro Label on May 30, 2025. Known for his impeccable mixing technique, underground groove, and timeless style, Pinto delivers a four-track exploration of house that showcases his versatility and innovative sound.

The EP opens with the title track, "Talismán," a refreshing house cut designed for the dancefloor. It features vibrant keyboards, a playful bassline, and a stong rhythmic section. "Plastic City" follows, injecting a dose of energy with its tight bass, hypnotic and frenetic atmosphere, cowbells, alarms, and resonant leads.

The journey continues with Theus Mago's edit of "Ghost in a Box." The acclaimed Mexican producer infuses the track with his signature sound, characterized by a booming, dynamic bass, rolling rhythms, a slightly schizophrenic atmosphere, and ghostly keyboards. Rounding out the EP is Pinto's original mix of "Ghost in a Box," a powerful dancefloor weapon. Its solid drum work and potent bassline create a captivating sonic voyage through ghostly keyboards, cowbells, and echoes.

Pinto has cultivated a strong presence in the electronic music scene, holding a residency at Bar Américas since 2011 with his "Localafiesta" night and founding the artistic multiverse LAFT. Pinto's impressive performance history includes appearances at renowned clubs such as Club Der Visionaere (Berlin), The Egg (London), and Bar Americas (Mexico). His discography spans esteemed labels like Body Parts, Vatos Locos, Deeperfect, and Nite Grooves.
