Fruit d’une période de création entre les vastes horizons de Patagonie et l’intimité feutrée de son home studio, « Sueños » se présente comme un EP personnel et sensoriel. Composé de 3 titres, il puise son inspiration dans les rêves, les souvenirs de voyage et les rencontres sonores. Véritable carnet de route, le projet mêle enregistrements d’environnements aquatiques, synthétiseurs analogiques, rythmiques ciselées et atmosphères aériennes.
Une écriture brute et authentique

Avec « Sueños », Vouipe propose une écriture plus brute, puisant dans l’instantanéité et la spontanéité du geste. Les sons captés sur le terrain et sous l’eau de Patagonie s’entrelacent aux nappes électroniques pour tisser des paysages sonores aussi délicats que dynamiques.

In June of 2020 Recut gave us ‘Reload Disco’ on his fledgling imprint Recut Music. His four-track wonky disco winner pricked the ears of many. All the heads were in, Jimpster, Luke Solomon, Oliver Dollar, DJ Rocca, Horse Meat Disco, Bill Brewster Justin Robertson, Fred Everything and Marcel Vogel, which culminated in a super speedy sell through of the vinyl.

Recut has been making beats since the ‘90s, preferring to keep his established name and past releases out of the limelight. He pushes out again on his vinyl only, Recut Music label with their second offering entitled ‘Dub Zero’. This EP is a four cut DJ tool that kicks!

Opening with ‘Runway’ and its lo-slung funky groove, that you just want to hear on a very loud speaker. ‘Mothership’ picks up the bpm and moves more into acid house terrain with its driving and repetitive machine beats. Title track ‘Dub Zero’ goes tribal and you can hear this kicking off a treat on Balearic house dancefloors. The EP closes out with ‘Dubmention’. It’s hi hats leading the charge, until the kick comes in and drives it all the way through this six and half minute, glam-rock stomping dancefloor pleaser.

Seebo's earwormy track 'We Never Change' (released on the EP with the same title earlier this year) gets two fresh remixes coming out later in december. Luca Olivotto delivers a piano-house version with a touch of 80s synth aesthetics and groovy percussions so typical for his production style and the talented UK-based house-producer Jame Moorfield made a bouncy bassline driven remix with punchy kickdrums.

VA-Solidarity is a Weapon

These are strange times and it looks like the whole world is going crazy. At least that's how we feel when we open the newspaper and follow the daily news.
All of us noticed the news about Nazi networks in police and military, mostly called „Einzelfälle“ with fear and concern. Halle and Hanau shook us. To watch “Querdenker” and Nazis walking hand in hand while the protests for the victims of Hanau where declined made us want to throw up and listening to politicians talking about the threat from leftwing-radicals just made us wonder. Even the orange president talked about the Antifa-myth which is complete bullshit. So what does Antifa mean? A short term for Antifascist.
Since we are no longer involved in political activism, we thought we would at least make a small contribution and support activists in their struggle.

So we started asking our friends if they wanted to contribute a track. Everyone jumped right on the bandwagon, which made us super happy and in a few weeks we even had more tracks than initially planned.
So you can expect some weird ambient-spheres, stompy club hymns, dolphin-trance, classic piano-house and even some dub-grooves.

We hope you enjoy the music as much as we do.

So who is “Rote Hilfe E.V.” and why does the money made with this compilation goes to them? This organisation puts the main focus on the financial and legal support of left activists who face repression in Germany.
