Trois garçons, six mains et tout plein de machines, c'est @depht_mod
Vous connaissez déjà un des membres du trio, @mimmo_metabaron vous ajoutez les deux autres, Théodore et Antonin et vous obtenez donc DEPHT MOD qui tourne depuis un peu plus de deux ans sur les scènes du grand Ouest du Live88 au Jardin Moderne en passant par la pléthore de bars qui font la scène musicale actuelle.
Abonnés aux impros qui font la marque de leur style, pratiquant l'overdose de musiques synthétiques et de machines, ils s'apprêtent à sortir fin février leur second EP "Catch the Blue".
La track proposée ici, Danza Eterna, débute gentiment sur des sonorités presque italo-disco, mais très vite, on plonge dans une rythmique qui emprunte à l'EBM sa vitesse glaçante. Des contre rythmes animent la structure de la track pendant qu'une voix  robotisée et spectrale semblant surgir du fin fond d'un goulag épaule les envolées qui se font planantes.
Mais c'est vers les profondeurs que nous entraîne définitivement Danza Eterna. Préparez votre pièce en or, Charon s'apprête à vous faire traverser le Styx vers les Enfers. Mais croyez moi, ici, l'enfer est tout sauf brûlant, il développe plutôt les saveurs glaciales de la coldwave.

Based in Rennes and active since 2019, coldwave trio Depht Mod is back with a second EP.
Sometimes smooth and suave, sometimes agressive, their music is a perpetual motion, an ever-changing-world, a meeting beetween the flesh and the machines. Composed with much improvisation, made up with 80s synthwave, industrial techno and italo disco, their hypnotic sound loops and harrowing voices have the smell of sweat and poetry. Inspired by Bataille, Baudelaire and Ballard amongst many others, these songs are talking about quests, desires, energies, meetings.

Cosma est une histoire tragique. Il a été tué dans un accident de moto près de Palulim, en Inde, le 10 février 2003. Dans les années précédant sa mort, Avihen était considéré comme l'un des gars les plus talentueux de la scène, sortant de la musique profonde et atmosphérique qui a laissé une empreinte sur la scène. À ce jour, on peut encore entendre les morceaux de Cosma joués lors de fêtes à travers le monde.
