Greek electronic music platform, ‘π‘ turns seven this year and brings new features on its label catalogue. ‘Variable Remixes’ is the first remixes EP of the Pi Electronics Various Artists series ‘PEVA’. Five tracks from the debut compilation ‘Variable’ –released in 2018- are getting remixed by some of the label’s favorite acts.

Unhuman’s “imminent Fear” gets an alternative Version by the legendary, Spanish band of Esplendor Geometrico.
Damcase’s “INKL Rules” is remixed by American producer Container.
The untitled track of the Variable compilation, by the artist project “I am Legion, for We are many”, gets reinterpreted by the Canadia duo of Rich Oddie (Orphx) and Huren as ‘O/H’.
On the flip side, the track ‘GBNR17’ of the label’s ‘3.14’ gets its fix by Spanish, industrial techno maestro, Geistform and DΛS’ “Spinner” receives a special remix treatment by Athens’ infamous ANFS.

Noise break-beats of different tastes on the A side, with stomping industrial beats for the club and sub-club environment on the B side.

This vital charity, founded by British Palestinian Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah, provides critical medical care to children in Gaza, transports them to Lebanon for advanced treatment, and supports their ongoing recovery.

The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund is dedicated to offering medical, psychological, and social care to the most vulnerable children, easing the pressure on Gaza's fragile healthcare system, and paving the way for a brighter future.

As mentioned earlier, 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this album will go directly to the charity, including all production costs as well. By purchasing digital or physical copies, you are directly supporting the charity and, therefore, vulnerable children who are in desperate need of vital medical care. Forward-thinking, archetype-rooted techno with remarkable sound design is a rare breed nowadays. In a confused and stale scene where parasites reign and feast upon their own fearmongering echoes, Void+1 continues to spotlight individuals who are a spark of hope.

One such individual is CTSD, an emissary of better things to come in the genre we once called techno. With "Dogma 96", he demonstrates an instantly recognizable signature of audio onslaught, the effectiveness of which is hard to overestimate. The EP features four satirical tracks that will become your go-to choices from the sound armory if you are brave enough to wield them, as they twist, bend, and shriek with every beat.

No microphones, no recordings. Just a blank digital canvas and a single intention: to translate into sound what an emotional hydrograph might trace.

Each track on this EP draws its own curve: unpredictable flows, sudden surges, deceptive calms. Oscillators stretch, shatter, recombine; rhythms emerge like waves, then dissipate. The experimentation is total digital tools are pushed to their breaking point, teetering on the edge of implosion.

In this process, Ableton is no longer a sequencer but an electronic river.
A shifting bed where sound flows, stagnates, and overflows. No sound was captured: everything was synthesized, processed, distorted, sculpted from pure digital abstraction. And yet, in every modulation, one can sense an artificial breath, an attempt at life.

Listening to this EP means following these invisible hydrographs: feeling the peaks, the troughs, the drifts, surrendering to instability. Because here, nothing is stable and it is within this very instability that emotion is born.
