A soundwalk in and around the Uferstudios, to tune into the perspective of other than human inhabitants of this urban space - from dandelions, to snails, ants, birds and foxes.

Ecology of Place - Soundwalk by Florian Ruland

This is the very first rendition- blue print @ Heizhaus during the residency facilitated by Ela Spalding and her project Suelo Methodology. 

We invite the manifestation of a sound soma and sensorial entanglement emerging from deep listening and live active engineering.

(We are) CONSORTIA! Is a musical, performative and visual durational piece built upon the unravelling and deep listening between participating individual's skills and life stories and the respective personalised ‘stations’ that interact with each other.

We are Holobionts, we survive and evolve because we are the host to, and comprise of a community of interdependent organisms, with many interacting genomes. Each human being is in itself an ecosystem, the flora in your armpit is a different community of flora than on your neck. Can we visually, sonically and somatically grasp how we are entangled with each other as sensing humans, holobionts and remember how our very existence is a constant shifting paradigm of polyspecies interplay, we are CONSORTIA .
