As i felt tool move across my brain, i rode the waves of randomness as i did my best to spiral out....and as i heard once in a DJ shadow track, 'It wasnt me so much as it was the music coming through me....These random eddylike components of this track are only a few of those infinite possibilities that Mr. Keenan  so poignantly notes...
As a Statistics teacher, I would play this song on the first day of class because our lives, like our statistical attempts at describing things, are only better off the more random its constituents become.....

For oh so many reasons, attempting to remix this track has been a serendipitious and fortunate endeavor and only has made me admire the piece and its creators that much more , even after hearing it countless times since 2001....

My first real batch of Psytrance (other than scores of itunes tracks, was 3 or 4 cds given to me by, none other than, the famous southern california psytrance godfather and guru, Andy Barakuda,,,From  2008, back when I was still teaching, I found on one of these cds a ripping and non-conventional remix of Floyd's famous album/track....
I became instantly hoooked on remixing this when i realized how lacking the low end was and howw lacking of pink floyd samples the remiX was....
I have no idea of who did the remix, but if you do, LMK....

A work in progress....and remixing a song from the gaudy 80s that the girls themselves detested? i guess its what I do....remix shit to make more shit....garbage in garbage out?  I dont think the melody or intent behind the original was garbage, but perhaps with an aire of naive superficial sexploration....

I am an aspiring producer of all things electronica and/or simply rocking...ideally, i will successfully marry the brilliant rocking vibe of zepplin, tool, rage or radiohead with the happiness of a good chugging psytrance bassline...I make no claims that my music lies on the technological cutting edge and have no aim to be in such realm of sound production....I just wanna make rocking shit that is serious and emotional while it tells a story in an audiotistical sense....I've been on this unexpected journey of musical production for more than 7 years now but, before this, I was a math teacher and aspiring astrophysicist and, even further in the past, i was doing all i could to become and NHL goaltender.....all along the way since I was about 12, I have had a passion for playing the guitar...especially classical nylon stringed guitars....mmmmm
