Here’s my 3-hour set from Ecstatic Dance Oakland! This set is quite unique and takes you on a dance journey traversing many different genres and tempos including some sections for those who love to stomp to the 4-4s! It starts very gently, leading up to progressive styles to shake out any stiffness, then drops into some deep bass to connect to your raw power, and then launches into eastern flavored trap, hip hop, 808, grime, breaks and dub to bring up the heat and make you sweat, and then softens into beautiful downtempo melodies to open your heart and bring you back to your center. 

I put a lot of love into this set and felt very honored to play at Oakland Ecstatic Dance where I have danced many many times! I hope you enjoy the journey! <3 Naughty Princess

The opening track “Iridescence” ebbs and flows between sultry melodies and enveloping bass weight, while the follow up tune “Skirmish” pounds speaker cones with syncopated synth cuts and processed hip-hop rhythms. “Hybrid” is the dance-floor-ready weapon of choice, drenching break-beat in resonant frequencies and juggled sub jaunts. “Azimuth” relaxes the atmosphere, utilizing a suite of round-edged textures and soft, tonal synthesis to paint melodies across the frequency spectrum. The swells and audio artifacts of “Temporal Symmetry” fold into themselves like a torus, giving the track a distinct rhythmic surface to reflect the developing melodies. Bringing the journey to a close, “Parallax Dub” is an all-encompassing stereo ball of synthesis and modality, with complimentary phrases slinging off of one another with mounting momentum.
