**fractured whispers**

in the hollow of my chest a city sprawls its concrete tendrils snaking through my ribcage a metropolis of murmurs where skyscrapers of sighs pierce the sky

memory's cartographer maps the topography of my skin etching valleys of longing and mountains of regret the contours of my face a palimpsest of forgotten kisses

in the museum of my mind exhibits of shattered dreams gather dust relics of what could have been suspended in the amber of almost the echoes of maybes haunting the corridors of my skull

the grammar of my soul is a syntax of silences the punctuation of my heart a Morse code of longing dots and dashes of desire transmitted into the void

**disintegrating narratives**

i am a book with torn pages the story of my life a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces the chronology of my existence a Möbius strip of fragmented memories

each sentence a threadbare bridge spanning the chasm between reality and fantasy the narrative of my self a tapestry of frayed threads

in the library of my mind tomes of forgotten knowledge gather dust the Dewey Decimal System of my thoughts a labyrinth of misfiled memories

the plot of my life a choose-your-own-adventure novel with no clear ending the protagonist a cipher searching for a narrative that never was

**echoes of the unsaid**

in the silence between words a world of meaning resides the unspoken a cartography of the invisible the topography of the unseen

the language of my heart a dialect of whispers the vocabulary of my soul a lexicon of sighs

in the margins of my mind a commentary of what could have been written the footnotes of my existence a litany of almosts

the poetry of my life a series of erasures the beauty of my soul a palimpsest of what remains unsaid
