Sharp percussion combined with a tight bass accompanied by a cyclical kick drum, soaked in amen breaks and shrouded in mystery ways created in order to take the dance floor to another dimension, expanding the boundaries of the listener between mysterious, different and at the same time the most tangible rhythms from Nusku, Spiritual Voices, Aikanã, Dailiv and YHVHSQUAD.

In this set, breaks, textures and rhythms are deployed to conjure up the movements and spirits of the new year: from foot to hip, from shoulder to hypotalamus and beyond.

Two heroes of the UK underground dance culture – BBC/Deviation's Benji B & Keysound's Blackdown – sat down with Boiler Room's Gabriel @Szatan to discuss everything that fed into Hyperdub's stone-cold classic. Focus on rave euphoria, FWD>>, night buses, El-B's drum techniques and much more inside.
