The latest signing from the region is fresh Ecuadorian talent ORDONEZ, resident of the world famous Lost Beach Club. THE SPELL EP is definitely one of the biggest releases of 2015 so far, which says a lot as it has been an amazing year so far!

As part of the MOTHER RECORDINGS family, Berlin-based SUPERLOVER has supplied several outstanding works, such as ‘Steam’, ‘Stronger’ (a remix of the Boris Dlugosch Original), ‘Love Me’ and his summer 2015 anthem ‘Love Machine’. 2017 has started with a bang as ‘Heart Drive’ hit Beatport House Chart at #2. Here, once again, he’s supplying absolute fire with a 3-track House EP called ‘Piano Wunder’.

‘Piano Wunder’ is a full frontal assault using house music’s favourite instrument, and here, Superlover delivers some energy raising stabbed-chords alongside a whaling female lead vocal to create the tension and release of big room proportions.

‘Good Times’ rolls out with a hugely emotive, filtered houser, a big, bold nod to the game-changing 00s sound. MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back esteemed Berlin duo MAT.JOE for another EP that is packed with real heat. Originally from Hannover, they moved to Berlin and have since impressed with their soul infused rhythms on plenty of top labels like Hot Creations & Aaarival, but they are regularly supplying the heat for MOTHER!

LOVE STREAM is first and is a seven minute bubbler with nice loose toms, driving sub bass and classic vocal samples that will get dancers moving and shaking. It’s warm and filled with good time vibes.

I GO is more physical, with raw drums and sharp percussive hits all driving along beneath a male vocal with real attitude. It’s sleazy and direct and sure to make you sweat. Last of all.

Welcome to 2018 !!!

We at MOTHER are super excited to welcome back DILBY, our homie from New Zealand who is now based in Berlin, for a banging new EP.

THE PATH is a chunky, driving slab of house that has been tearing up dance floors since it hit our inbox. The beat is constructed of big analog drums fused with ethnic percussion and tribal vocal chops then underpinned by a heavy sub bass. But, the real star of the show here is that flute hook, so catch every time!

Rounding out the EP is KICKIN IT, a funky grooving house weapon that is sure to bring smiles to the face of everyone on the floor! Dilby takes a modern house aesthetic and fuses it with a catchy throwback piano riff and ultra memorable vocal hook to deliver true hands in the air bomb.

Berlin House duo, MAT.JOE are called up for another MOTHER reunion, this time returning to one of the hottest house labels out there with a two track heater of an EP, ‘Sunshine’.

‘Sunshine’ will no doubt be leaving the dancefloors steaming, pitting together an array of percussive house beats, funky interludes and energetic vocal howls against their signature drops of thunderous basslines.

‘What You Want’ is most definitely the cheekier of the two, mixing up a teasing range of funky pads, cheeky guitar riffs and seductive vocal whispers to finally come together and ignite the room through their tasty bassline drops.

Igniting the dancefloor with "Red“, the duo builds immediate intensity through a chunky house groove, warbling bassline and official vocal clearance of Tweet feat. Missy Elliott - "Oooops (Oh My)". Sweet harmonious chord sequences slowly enter and prepare the stage for round two as they deliver one last thunderous strike.

Label head Nhan Solo and Mother Recordings regular Dilby are back at it with another dynamite collaboration to start the year off with a bang!
Work is a feel good house record with the bounce and groove dial turned all the way up. Infectious drums and a catchy vocal hook demand attention and pulsing bass line dominates the low end.
