Gavin Griffin, better known as GMJ, has been a consistent force in the progressive community for nearly a decade. Kicking his GMJ moniker off in early 2008 through Jesse Kuch’s “Open Records” & Kasey Taylor’s “Vapour Recordings” and further through the years with appearances on “Sudbeat”, “Balkan Connection”, “Flow Vinyl”, “Particles” & “Proton Music”. His style gravitates towards the atmospheric, melodic side with a partiality towards a strong groove, and he’s clearly taken that direction with his remix of Luke Sambe’s “Becoming”. Along with taking cues from the original, he’s added his own little magic through extra vocal bits, complimenting drone & groovy basslines and atmospheric fillers, all supporting a riff that runs through the track. Summer moves on… and we are back with the 6th edition of our “Bella Mar“ compilation. This year we asked the boss himself to collect some pearls and get some friends together for this wonderful project. We have Niconé for example, the Berlin multiple talented guy which always surprises with unique beats and long lasting melodies - his „Acid Heart“ brings us back to the 90’s with the push of 2019. Peter Pardeike ft. Cameron James brings a crazy good vocal track full of love and warm feelings. A “Jewel“ is coming from Leipzig based Lexer which is straight for the dancefloor. Enjoy a bath in this wonderful deep and techy song which is easily going forward. Einmusik delivers “Spume“ full of passion and hands-up-dream-moments. We say hello again to friends like Mononoid, Marc DePule, Jonas Saalbach, Ivan Masa, Rauschhaus & Peer Kusiv. And finally we meet again with Danito & Athina which recently joined Einmusika for the big Barcelona show and name it a “Crazy Love“.

Clubsonica Records continues a strong start to the new year by welcoming Andre Moret to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from São Paulo but now based in Campinas, the Brazilian artist has been rising out of his country's burgeoning progressive house scene. Having already landed releases on Balkan Connection, Soundteller Records, Stellar Fountain and Transensations Records, Andre now debut's on Clubsonica with 'Recover' alongside a remix from Magitman.

Andre has become loved for his unique cross pollination of progressive house and trance. The title selection 'Recover' leads the release off and showcases this ethos wonderfully. It's chugging rhythms flow effortlessly across the first act, building waves of momentum as tantalizing arps and shimmering pads shift energy into the main break. Wispy atmospherics coupled with emotive chord changes and tasteful modulation highlight the centrepiece, before smoothly segueing into a driving finale. The second selection 'New Earth' follows with a deeper more spacious vibe. Incredibly groovy, catchy hooks blanket a chunky foundation as icy pads drift in and out of the stereo field, eventually leading to an expansive centrepiece. Spanning over two minutes in length, the main break is a showcase of Andre's precise craftsmanship, as cinematic drifts and detailed sonics build a compelling canopy of sound. Understated yet poignant, a gentle build teases the senses as a tasteful drop ushers in a stylish third act.

The lone interpretation of 'New Earth' is provided by Magitman who makes his label debut. The Israeli artist has been a fixture of the electronic underground for well over a decade, with a portfolio that includes releases on Beat Boutique, Movement Recordings and Proton Music. Now making his much anticipated Clubsonica debut, Magitman delivers a gorgeous rendition of 'New Earth'. Deep, intricate and undeniably groovy, it's a mesmerizing journey into the depths of hypnotic house. A touch tougher than the original, its buoyant framework is offset with acidic tones, astral artefacts and a less distinct take on the lead theme, making it ideal for a broad range of dance floors, while still delivering a heartfelt message.

Rounding out the release is the third and final original 'Reflective Shades'. Aptly titled, its reflective qualities prove to be the perfect end to this exhilarating sound story. Anchored by a warm progressive groove, its rhythmic core comes up quickly, with layers of finely tuned drums, subtle shades and vibrant tones. Airy pads and ghostly wails converge while astral arps and hopeful overlays rise towards the heart of the piece. Melting down into the break, its joyous theme resonates on a higher frequency, flowing through tasteful modulation as the groove drops for a finale of emotive chord changes. It rounds out an inspired collection of music from Andre, making his debut EP for Clubsonica a most memorable one.

Moti Brothers is the project of Norbert Motolai, and Daniel Motolai. Their tracks are played and supported by the biggest names of the music industry, including Roger Sanchez, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Jody Wisternoff, Dj Tarkan, and many more. They had the chance to play in the Hungarian Justmusic.fm, and in the Globalparty.hu, and they had also the opportunity to play on some party series in Hungary, like the Meeting & Mission, Owermight Electronicc, and Cactus Housenight. A few details about the members: Norbert, also known Nortio, was getting into the music business 8 years ago. His first track „Nortio – pure” was released on the compilation disc of FREEE mag. Later his brother Daniel also joined him, and to start his career, he got huge help from Norbert. Their collaboration is now six year old. 2007 brought huge changes, because the American label, Soundtribe records gave a contract for the guys. In 2008, the Canadian label, Existence Records was signing them for an artist album, which was containing 10 own tracks. On the first half of the year, the album appeared at the market with the name, Chemistry. The album has grabbed the attention of Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, and Lemon 8. Later their new album I Love Budapest was released by the Readymix records. In the second half of the year, their label, Sountribe records, was asking the guys to compile some tracks for a mix series, called Soundtribe Harmonies. Not so later they have been asked by the Greek label, Deepsession records, to make a remix for Paul Mad’s track. But music producing is not their only profile. In the same year, they have been starting their own radio show, „Hungarian Harmonies” on Inside.fm, Argentina. They had another radio show called Pure Harmonies, on Pure.fm.
