Apache is taken from the self-titled release “Legacy Tapes” on Motion Framework Derby Ltd.

Produced by the team of Daniel El Campeon and Nico JP and then mixed by RJ Rizzle,  Apache explores the world of people running around after each other until it comes to the crunch point where the person on the receiving end may have very few options. One of them being to simply call for their mother or the grace of god to save them.

The record talks of Apache fleets and Black Hawks like an ode to the action flicks of war torn America or Air Wolf in the 1980s.

Apache comes as part and parcel of the 10 track release that utilises samples taken from the original 1994 Vangelis ‘Blade Runner soundtrack”.

For cult film lovers, the identification of these samples is a respectful part of the listening pleasure whilst it brings that whole “low down and shifty” Blade Runner feel to the forefront in stereo sound.

Apache was put together by film director Luke Rufo who was brought in based on previous encounter with the creation of a film score that both teams worked on for a feature titled “Hunt For Love”

Shot in Manchester on a Panasonic GH5 on a single day in May 2021, Legacy Tapes are pleased to present THREE versions of “APACHE”  with an extended narrative being pushed towards short film festivals and a shorter radio cut being used for promotion on the UK Hip Hop circuit.

With five minutes of action, you can expect a few thrills and spills as Legacy Tapes paint a picture via film and score. Hollywood guarantees that the hero wins whilst the reality is never really quite that simple.
