Motives has quickly carved out a niche for himself in melodic house and techno. His releases have gained support from respected names like Above & Beyond, Nora En Pure, EDX, Sultan + Shepard, Qrion, and Solomun, and he has shared lineups with some of dance music's finest, including Eric Prydz, Yotto, Spencer Brown, and Bedouin.

His remix of Le Youth's 'Miraje' (Anjunabeats) charted in the Top 10 Trance charts on Beatport, was featured on Above & Beyond's legendary Group Therapy broadcast, and earned him a guest mix on Anjunabeats Worldwide (#734). 

Other notable releases include EPs on the heralded Colorize imprint ('Gone / Games' and 'Reach / Dominion' with Morgin Madison), a collab with ascending duo Leossa ('This World / Heartbeats' [PRGRSSN]), another remix for Le Youth ('Hang On' [This Never Happened]), and a collab with rising star Jordan Arts ('Close My Eyes' [Enormous Visions]).
