"Every year Miami WMC is the occasion to hear what's new, and the hot tracks that are gonna be played by most DJs in the following months. Congaloid is still a new adventure, we have released only few records so far, so I felt incredibly excited when we have been asked to host a party during the music week.

To celebrate this, I have compiled a little sampler of what our sound is, imagining these 3 tracks being played at the WMC in different occasions, and we also welcome 2 new artists in the family.

Opening the EP is "Zip Zip" by The Deepshakerz. Our " Alki Bamba" collaboration song has been the first release of the label, with a great feedback, and now the Italian duo is showing how their style changes and evolves, they send me so many good songs I could release an E.P. every month! Simple, jacking &amp; pure grooves.

Diavlo is a good friend, a super good producer, with already a few records under his belt, and his "Profanity" is simply the song that "works" all the time. In my sets this represents the peak time moment, and every time I played it. When that trumpet sample comes in, you see hands in the air.

Last but surely not least is Baunz, another new entry on Congaloid that makes me very excited. "808, Pausetapes &amp; Other Shit" is very different from what we have released so far, but in the moment he visited me in the studio and played this slow gem I was hooked. Sexy is the only word that comes in mind, and a swimming pool party is the perfect occasion to play this. You'll hear more from Baunz on this label... Lots more!

I hope you'll enjoy the Congaloid Miami Sampler as much as I do, this release makes me particularly proud of the family we are building, and we are going to the WMC with the intent of making a messy party and seeing smiles all around".

A new Optimo Music Disco Plate and the debut release from Feon.  When these tracks first came my way I instantly knew they were ripe for a release on the label. Original, idiosyncratic, psychedelic, full of imagination and featuring a couple of dancefloor hits, how could I resist? Also, “The Sun is High” was surely destined to become a sun-blissed summer anthem…..

Feon has a few things he’d like to say about this EP -

“I wrote these tracks in a manic ten-day session, shortly after an unravelling ayahuasca ceremony, which is evidenced in the psychedelic sound of the first track in particular. Upon reflection there is something of a primal quality to “The Sun Is High”, we were all sun worshippers at one point in our ancient history. The vocals are my voice stacked thirty odd times in different harmonies, then put through a space echo, and they're followed by some gratuitous Moog noodling to boot! For use at the beach party.
 
The flip goes into darker more experimental territory, with “Holland Fly By” taking clear inspiration from an old iMPLOG track, and “Without Sound” getting stranger still, the vocal refrain's mournful, tense landscape interrupted by boisterous drums. 

Its a real joy and honour that I can add something to the Optimo sound world as it is one that has given me great pleasure over the years.”

Silhouette's 99th release(!!) is from Oscar Avendaño aka Levantine, 
an electronic music artist, bass player, keyboardist & DJ from Mexico. 

Levantine has an impressive and diverse release catalog on labels such as Turbolenz Records, Chopshop and Discoweey. 

The Nebula Steam ep is a 4 track originals banger with dark and cosmic disco. Inspired by Levantine’s electronic heroes like: Jean Michel Jarre, Pet Shop Boys, early Depeche Mode and OMD.

Expect beefy, bass-driven beats and haunting melodies, Levantine takes us on a journey exploring the outer limits of the dark cosmos.

Levantine’s key production philosophy is playing and recording live as much as possible, “I like to keep the human touch on electronic music, it gives it that 'punk' feeling”.
