German DJ & producer @johannesalbert combined 2 and 1/8th of these siloed segments in 9 hours of pleasurable work & working pleasure at Wilden Renate Berlin. Albert spins industrial melodies with revolutionary funk for a full day of avocational joy. It’s true what they say, if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.

Sunrise Sunset 07 - Damian Lazarus

I recorded this mix at Summer Contrast, on Saturday from 10 PM to midnight at the Tribes Stage.
Two hours full of groove, hypnosis and tribal energy. The set included tracks from Barac, Ben Kaczor, Ben Rau, Cassy & Chris Carrier, Chris Geschwindner, DVS1, East End Dubs, Mood II Swing, Prime Minister of Doom, Sakro, Youandewan.

The last track was special. I had been holding it in my collection for a long time, waiting for the right moment. A special remix of Twin Peaks, played in tribute to David Lynch, who passed away this year. I knew I had to do it here.

This set is also an answer to those who sometimes ask me what direction I’m heading. It’s not only minimal – even though that’s where I started back in 2005–2006, before realizing that music didn’t quite fit Krakow’s dance floors at the time. Now I return to it consciously, mixing house, 90s echoes, tech house and Romanian minimal into one tribal pulse.

This is my language. And this is how I want to play.

Paride Saraceni’s debut Truesoul release, ‘Burning’, brings us three uplifting and vocal-heavy tech house tracks. A steady groove throughout, Saraceni’s choice of instrumentation and flowing percussion create a melodic yet techy release with all three tracks laced with a solid kick drum, tinkering high hats and sporadic vocals. ‘Burning’ is is the perfect offering for the new year and proves there are big things on the horizon for Saraceni.

Craig is a man who has done it all.  He’s from hot & humid Queensland, he lives in dry & hot LA and he delivers fast & hot techno. Last Moment will be far from his last though, driven analogue party techno at its finest here folks. With Philosophique Girl lending her vocal chords and M&M lending their remix skills it’s a star-studded release just in time for Christmas. So blow the dust off the ole turntable because this is Craig doing what Craig does best, he gives 3 tracks which could all be the A-side. So ignore the tracklisting, this bad boi has no B-sides.
