Belgian label brokeboi records returns with a fresh new release from emerging artist samee, a project rooted in club culture but unafraid to wander across borders.
His 4-track EP, landing April 25, dives headfirst into a hybrid soundworld of breaks, bass, and globally inspired rhythm.  

Having quietly evolved from previous work, samee steps into their own lane here. Driven by movement, the EP is playful, physical, and deeply textured.
Tracks like "piki piki" and "bamako" draw inspiration from African musical traditions, blending deep hitting vocals with rolling low-end pressure and bright, off-grid percussion. It’s club music with a wide lens.

Across the four cuts, samee balances the raw energy of the dancefloor with a detail-oriented production style that rewards repeat listens.
The result is a project that feels just as at home in peak-time sets as it does on home speakers, an intentional duality.
