some times at practice.  some one plays a riff.  another guy joins in.  then another.  every once in a while.  it sounds pretty cool.

In the spring of 2013 we added the vocals of my sister who
had joined the band since we recorded the album with Ian Lund about a year earlier.  Additional vox were done with Greg Henkin and he remixed all the tunes.  Turned out great.

2008 Feed The Yeti

2 years ago in February.  (or was it 3 years ago)  Motovune found themselves around the breakfast table at Juan's Chuck Wagon in Waukegan.  What follows are the recording sessions from the Basement Studio of Andrew Welch.  We were knee deep in a transitional period but we hadn't a clue.
The band that we had grown to be was morphing.  Styles were colliding.  Like a snake in the spring time we were ready to start the molting process.  Shed our skin and become a newer sexier slithering snake for you to feast upon.    The tracks have been uncovered as they were left.  Perhaps it's time we embellished them a bit into a strange morph of what we were, what we are, and what we shall become.  Cold GOT to be.

Jonny and Rich laboriously birthed MOTOVUNE in 2007. (Pronounced "MOE-TOE-VOON", and named after a picturesque hillside town in Istria, Croatia.) The gritty sound scape is a ripening blend of amateur and somewhat original styles & light- hearted, yet sincere, motifs.
