Rituals is thrilled to announce the debut EP titled 'Waters of Chaos, from one of the new, exciting talents in the music scene, SOLëM.

SOLëM, based in Los Angeles, has shown an incredible knack for deep, captivating, and visceral productions that align perfectly with Rituals’ ethos. We're proud to support this rising artist and can't wait for the world to experience his work.

The opening track, Invocation, weaves an intriguing narrative filled with lush soundscapes and mesmerizing rhythm. Its haunting melodies envelop listeners, creating a captivating allure that evokes a sense of mystery and anticipation, setting the tone for the EP.

Mist Amongst the Foliage, the second track, is an exploration into the darker, tribal territories of sound. The track is filled with shamanistic percussions and atmospheric synths, evoking imagery of ancient rites performed deep within forests. The echo of primal drums resonates through the eerie quiet, creating a sense of unease that's both hypnotic and beautiful.

Waters of Chaos, the EP's title track, embodies the enigmatic charm of SOLëM's unique sound. Club Unique proudly present the debut label release from Ōtautahi hardware connoisseur Trig; a formidable showcase of modular synth mastery and drum machine dominance.

Titular track ‘The Raven’ sets the tone for the EP; anguished analogue screeches & growls depict a harsh, cold environment backed by militant drum programming guaranteed to keep feet stomping on the dancefloor. ‘Thalassophobia’ explores more whimsical territory while still exuding an overall sense of dread. Claustrophobic and anxious arpeggios battle an oppressively bouncing bassline.

‘Desire’ brings a sense of warmth and hope portrayed through a thoughtful chord progression. In contrast, a demonic whisper spreads fiendish thoughts against icy, rolling percussion.
