Spain's Loopaina Records is an underground techno imprint and their fifth vinyl and digital release titled 'Angels Around Us' features a top class array of artists, including Ricardo Garduno, Biorc, Oscar Mulero, DSNGDMANN, Pyramidal Decode, Lakej, KØLPØS, and Drucal.

The purpose of this package is that of charity, where 100% of the profits generated will be donated in their entirety to a non-profit organisation that works with children with autism. This NGO dedicates its daily work to improving the quality of life for children on the autism spectrum, offering them therapeutic support, educational resources, family accompaniment, and safe spaces where they can fully develop.

DSNGDMANN hails from Barcelona and returning to Loopaina after having a few appearances already, his music can also be found on Cristian Varela's Black Codes Experiments, Vegim's Alhena, Bruno Ledesma's Concepto Hipnotico, and Airsond Records.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track "Luca" with a cyclical synth being the main focus. Twisted and raw, more layers are introduced for additional tension and percussion pressure for a powerful, mind-altering trip that's a perfect analogue storm.

Three years have passed since the Abstraction project first saw the light. Designed as a tool to give a voice to the young generation of Techno artists in Cuba. In this time, many interesting things have happened and new faces have been added to the imprint.

On the occasion of this event we have put together a compilation of twenty tracks. Inside we can find cuts from the main producers in the country and several internetional guests.  
Styles and influences such as Industrial, Acid, Trance, Rave or IDM describe the tone of this release. And so we close a year in which chaos has taken over the world and the scene has been seriously affected, but we have the hope that better days will come.

The past year has been an absolute disaster for nearly everyone on this planet. We’ve seen our local pubs, restaurants, businesses, culture initiatives and events struggling from the measurements that were taken by our governments due to the coronavirus. It’s undeniable that the virus has already been responsible for many deaths around the world. Experts and scientists are working around the clock to find a solution to stop the virus and cure the illness that it brings, but unfortunately this alone is not enough. 

In the media there is way too little attention devoted to the “side effects” this virus can cause, one side effect being “mental health problems”. Many people in our direct and indirect environment are struggling from it, sometimes visibly, sometimes invisibly. Statistics show that the global suicide rate in 2020 has drastically risen compared to previous years, this is something that cannot be ignored.

After many encounters with people that are suffering from mental health problems, we became extra aware about this issue and we wanted to contribute in some way. Unfortunately we are not experts ourselves in this matter, but luckily there are other people/organizations who are. These people/organizations are often underfunded and that’s where we can contribute.

We are launching a various artist release (digital + CD) to fund “De Zelfmoordlijn”, a Belgium-based organization that is committed to helping anyone that is in need. People that are looking for a chat, people with suicidal thoughts or even people who know someone that is in need for help, can chat or call with volunteers from the organization 24/7, every day of the year. For a duration of 12 months we will be donating 50% of the total revenue of this release directly to them at the end of each month, starting in April. The other 50% will be used to cover the expenses of the release and will help us to keep providing you with banging releases and hopefully events in the future!

Special thanks to all the artists, our designer Worthmann and everyone else that was involved in this project.
