Mouad is a 26 year-old singer-songwriter and psychiatrist-to-be from Morocco.

Starting as a lead guitarist in his teenage years, he found himself shifting progressively into more song-centered music, with The Beatles, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and other classic singer-songwriters and bands back at the center of his attention. Later, modern "indie" acts such as Mac DeMarco, Anna B Savage, Oracle Sisters, Alice Phoebe Lou, The Lemon Twigs, Papooz... continued to inspire him.

Mouad has been writing songs about love, heartbreak, beauty and the human mind for a couple of years, and has finally decided to share them with the world. He seeks to emulate the effect of his favourite music on him; aiming to touch new listeners' souls the way that music touched him. That's the ultimate purpose of music, in his opinion.

Balancing a career in medicine and in music, he doesn't see that as a hurdle, but more like a blessing. Mouad hopes to incorporate his artistic and psychiatric interests to add Art Therapy to his specialties.

His music has been described as "melancholic, but sweet, dreamy", and "radiating a kind of Radiohead-meets-Paul-McCartney energy".
