Creznight [Crash-The-Night] is a DJ and producer from Utrecht, The Netherlands.His love for groovy sounds started in Ireland where he became member of a DJ collective and had his first gig there. After that he started studying Music Production and Audio Engineering at SoundEducation in the Netherlands. He is known for his groovy sound. Indeed, Detroit Techno from the 90’s containing energetic basslines, 909 kicks and groovy percussion layers inspired him a lot. He already played at outstanding parties like Poema, Tivoli, De Helling, Sugarfactory. He is active in his Utrecht-based DJ collective Oefenmeesters which has led over fifty releases on Soundcloud and hosted frequent gatherings in clubs around the city. Inspired by artists like Sterac, Cari Lekebusch, Truncate, Umek and early Drumcode releases Creznight is now focusing on his new productions. His new EP is all about rhythm and you can expect it early 2021. As clubs are closed, he a made special deeper techno set for listening at home.
