Mr Paul Losev AKA @Paul2Paul AKA our favourite Russian-in-New-York is back with his 3rd EP for us, and this one is by far his most accomplished work yet. An Old Story EP features 3 originals as well as a stunning remix by @Giom. 

An Old Story is classic Paul2Paul: emotive, warm, well produced and musical in every way. Here, the Juno 106 meets the grand piano in perfect harmony. Giom then takes the track to the next level, adding extra parts and layers that should please fans of Pampa Records. Nothing But The Bass is the peak groover track of the pack. Simple, yet devastatingly effective, this is one bouncy groove that will not fail any dancefloor with its hypnotic feel. Last but not least, Paul lets loose and explores new territories with No Stars, a one-of-a-kind tracky number with plenty of skips and personality, re-edited and beefed up especially by Giom for ultimate dance-floor satisfaction.

The second digital release of LUNETTA11 sees the debut of a brand new project called Antenna! . "Algoritmo" consists of 3 nu-disco gems that go straight to the point: here rolling basslines and cosmic atmospheres reign. 
The homonym track "Algoritmo" opens the EP with a punchy bass and a bunch of jaunty synths; the ride continues with "Chroma", a fast-paced rhythm track that doesn't leave you any chance to get out of the dance floor; "Rhombus" closes the EP with delayed percussions and a sexy bassline that will keep you company for a brief but intense journey.

There is a distinct rawness to his sound that I absolutely love and his work often reminds me of early French house artists such as Cassius, Motorbass and Fred Falke. A connoisseur of refined sounds. Music has been my lifelong journey — shaping moments, moods, and memories. Welcome to the Rhythm of Life.

Moulton Music is a collaboration of artists obsessed with both the future and past of house music.  Being run by producers and music-makers, our output is varied, ranging from deep house to soul to jackin' disco, but always with a sense of historical perspective and an ear for fine-tuned production, as well as a deep connection to the dancefloor.  We're based around San Francisco's legendary Moulton Studios, where most of the production takes place, but our friends and collaborators stretch far and wide.  

There are many people involved, but our core consists of Chris Lum and David Harness (who together form Harlum Muziq), as well as Homero Espinosa and Allen Craig (both formerly of Yerba Buena Discos), along with San Francisco cult favorite DJ's Sergio Fedasz and Ivan Ruiz, and producer and marketing guru Anish Acharya (of Dream In Audio).  Of course, we have many more friends and compatriots when you include all the people involved in our regular Molton Sessions underground house party, our various club nights, and the rest of the artists and remixers on the label, but it's that spirit of collaboration, along with our past-meets-future musical values, which defines Moulton Music.
