the lyrics are the best. "not drinking tea but reading leaves" is my favorite. I guess we all want to believe there is some "magic" that keeps us alive forever and never sick/sad/upset. It is hard to digest the reality that as soon as we are born we start to die and that is just nature ,it's normal and if you can keep it in mind then I think you can deal with life's inevitable bumps and bruise with minimal angst. I really like how this is written and put together

During the last few months of his life, Bri tried a number of ‘alternative’ treatments which all proved to be both expensive and, in the end, useless

A few weeks before he died, I was sitting by his hospital bed when he asked me, “Do You Believe In Magic?”  Knowing what I knew – and he knew it too - what possible answer can you give to a question like that?  Bri already knew the answer but, all the same, I wish I could have given a convincing and unequivocal ‘yes’.  But I still wanted to support him as best I could and told him I believed in him and that I would always love him.  I felt so torn.  That’s what this song is all about.

Just to let all of you know, Gary has had some difficult times over the last few months leading to him being taken to Hospital by ambulance on several occasions. Unfortunately his illness has made him so unwell it has been impossible for him to communicate with any of his friends and he wants to apologise for the lack of contact. We both hope he will now be able to make some forward steps and improve his health over the coming months and that this will enable him to respond to all of the messages everyone has left. Thank you to everyone for your support, friendship and patience.

What can you say about Hans that hasn’t already been said? When I sent him the demo of this song I did wonder if the subject matter may be difficult. But Hans has this incredible ability to soak up every meaning and incorporate all of those feelings into his beautiful music.  As always, I want to thank him for producing such a sensitive and dynamic track, one that fits the song like a glove.
