This is 90% the selection played at Outro Lado on Thursday afternoon at Waking Life 2022. Thanks to the fantastic crowd for the open-mindedness and the energetic dancing. Also much appreciated the various personal feedback!
You can do me a favour and listen to it in full without skipping at least once. I feel it's quite a trip.

Lastly thanks to the charismatic organisers and the Giegling crew for the huge effort in realising this festival and keeping the spirit alive.

May 27th 2023 I was opening the DEEP IN THE BOX night at Tresor´s Globus. It was a great pleasure to building up the floor slowly for @DanaRuh´s wonderful live set, followed by Dj sets of @RogerGerressen and @Julie-Marghilano.

The Heide Session (House Selection)

Seven hours recorded from the all night b2b between Christoffer aka C.K and myself. There isn't a lot of recordings from marathon sets up online, so thought this would be a nice one to share for those of you who like a long uninterrupted ride.

C.K and I are both from Denmark, and our friendship goes a long way back. We worked together on a vinyl only podcast in the late 00's on blogspot.com for those of you who remember those times digging through blogs and Myspace. Since then C.K has been producing amazing records and doing fantastic mixes on his Safe Radio series (highly recommended!) as well as help the local scene with a wonderful voluntary-run venue 'Super' in the city of Aarhus in Denmark.

It has been a long enjoyable ride to run my label Delaphine for 10 years, a ride of surprises, and this night was a such a ride as well. A fun back-to-back ping pong of followups, layups, and curve balls. We hope you enjoy the ride.

Thanks to the always amazing Aether Club team that consistently throughout the years have provided such an amazing space for electronic music in the heart of Budapest.

In July 2010, I got an invitation to play at a small but neat festival named Folk Ibiza. It was my first visit to the island. I got to spin at a bunch of different locations, such as the Hostal Boutique Salinas, Sunset Ashram, and on the terrace at Space. I returned in September of the following year to play a set on Andy Wilson's show on Ibiza Sonica and a second time at the Hostal. I have not been back to Ibiza since. I recently came across this picture (taken at Cala Compte next to Sunset Ashram), which inspired me to make this mix. I tried to sonically capture the vibe that I felt back then. It includes some bona fide classics such as Ashra "Oasis“, Santana "Aqua Marine," and Jah Wobble & Holger Czukay "Hold On To Your Dreams," as well as tunes by Smith & Mudd, Begin, Quiet Village and more. What a ride! Any words we write down here are not doing justice to the experience we had. Hope these three hours of music will serve as testimony to the fantastic times there.

Inspired by – and dedicated to – Malek and Leticia ♥️♥️

Every time I consider to finally step down from the DJ booth with a bold statement another opportunity arises with a high promise to become the chance for an even bolder statement. And her I am, continuing.

So, what to play this time? One recent night gave me the inspiration: a music lovers' trio (me included) hanging at a friend's place while tripping smoothly on mushrooms (me excluded) was wondering which music would be the appropriate accompaniment.

I proposed my "Psychedelic Soul" set (it's here on my SC page) which I believe belongs to the most flawless and fluid mixes I ever managed to conduct. Somehow the flow happened almost by itself here, plus: "surrounded by nature, outdoors vibes and the heavy, monsoon-like rain must have been a great inspiration". So why not get this spirit back into the club, surrounded by a Get Perlonized nature, family vibes, and a heavy monsoon-like love for music! Consequently, back home I delved into the shelves of club psychedelia that had remained untouched and dusty for quite a while.

At Zenner Club, I was very moved when quite a few people in the crowd told me that they had only come to hear me play and that my performance was the one they've been tripping to in the most pleasurable manner. Which confirms me that it is advisable never to follow a safe path in favour of always looking for an adventurous music journey (in this case with the echo of a mushroom feel). The extra fun part of the mission was: 30% of the tracks I mixed I had never played before.

These experiences keep me continuing while still looking for the ultimate boldest statement to step down from the DJ booth. It seems it didn't happen, not even this time.
