Someday Isle Presents: Rhythm's All You Need

@pardis_official a Techno DJ based in Cologne, takes her audience on a captivating journey where getting lost is encouraged. Influenced by driving techno beats, acid, psy and trance elements, as well as groovy rhythms, her sound is a unique blend that keeps the crowd moving. Born in the mid-90s, Pardis has always been drawn to music, starting to play the piano at the age of six and developing a love for classical music. Her passion for techno emerged suddenly but has remained a constant in her life. 

When performing, Pardis mesmerizes the audience with her energetic techno beats, actively engaging with the crowd and forming connections with each individual. 

For the Mousai Mix Series she has decided to take the audience on a melodic and deep journey. Determined by vocals, melodic beats and high emotions.

During late hours under the clear starry skies of the Tankwa, there isn’t really any good reason to not let completely loose and throw down beats dropping harder than a farmer with a new crop. Especially when you happen to be doing it in celebration of the the great pride and glory and the very totem of gooi-ing mielies itself.

Thanks to the Scallywags for your dedication to showing us the light in the art of throwing those corns like there’s no tomorrow. For making me dig into my late night music vibes, which is always suuuch a pleasure. Who knew that corn could be so conducive to channelings of dirty beats and healing dance moves?

[For those of you unfamiliar with what “Gooi Mielies” means, it’s a South African expression for “throwing corn” which may sound really odd, but it actually in a more metaphorical sense means to “give it your absolute all”.]

Kamisshake, affectionately known as Kami, is a self-confessed aficionado of all things nocturnal. His love affair with the night began the moment he first set foot in a club, a passion that has profoundly shaped his life and career. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of parties, the eclectic mix of colorful characters, and the endless stream of music, Kami has crafted a unique sound that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

Originally hailing from Iran, Kami's insatiable thirst for electronic music led him to the record stores of Soho, where he immersed himself in the beats that would define his style. In 2003, he exploded onto the European house scene with his remix of Kelis' "Milkshake," a track that received rave reviews from global platforms including BBC RADIO1 and numerous international festivals. This breakout success gave birth to the alias ‘Kamisshake,’ under which he has continued to enchant listeners with his hypnotic, sexy global beats.

Kamisshake's DJ sets are a fixture in clubs across the globe, with regular performances in Thailand, Uruguay, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, and beyond. His impressive discography boasts a plethora of productions and remixes for major labels such as Mark Knight’s Toolroom and Deep Dish’s Yoshitoshi and Shinichi.

Kami's talent and dedication have earned him residencies at some of the world's most prestigious clubs. He was a resident at 'Fiction' in London’s beloved The Cross (R.I.P), the legendary DTPM at Fabric London, and the iconic AZULI party at Space Ibiza.
