Welcome to MOUSE THE FOX music project.

This project is aimed to promote the fantastic work done by many non profit organisations and animal sanctuaries throughout the world.

This volume 21 is dedicated to a Queen fox named Dixie and who's birthday was this week.
Dixie is one of the most charismatic fox from Saveafox Corp. a sanctuary rescuing animals from awful fur farms.
I'm happy to present you this quite joyful and dancy set and i hope you will enjoy the ride.

Volume 28 highlights Remy, a joyful and funny fox who was surrendered when pup to an amazing fox and wolf-dog sanctuary named Walking Wild Rescue based in the U.S.A.
Remy was purchased as a pet fox but soon his family realised he couldn't be kept in their home. This is unfortunately what happens many times when people buy exotic pets whithout being prepared nor informed about them.
Remy joined then the sanctuary with just a few months old and grew there with lots of love. And he's now the entertainer of the sanctuary, so i made this happy music set for him.

I'm very happy to present you this 29th volume 29th highlighting a real sweet fox named Archie. A born blind arctic fox who was surrendered last year, at almost 10 years old, to Saveafox. He could then find a new forever home at Arctic Fox Daily Wildlife where he shares is new life with two other arctic foxes: a senior like him named Toto and a young vixen called Lulu. He now spends the best days of his life in an outdoor enclosure and he loves his new friends and his new mum. Archie is just a pure ball of sweetness. 
Besides being a sanctuary for foxes, Arctic Fox Daily also save and rehabilitate many wild animals.

Volume 31 is highlighting two little shy foxes rescued last year by Saveafox and who found a forever home in a beautiful sanctuary called Foxes Journey Sanctuary.
They were paired since the day they were rescued from their individual tiny little cages in the fur farm they were born. And they really bonded to eachother immediately.

Foxes Journey Sanctuary is planning to extend and built more enclosures and run yard to be able to save more foxes from these horrible fur farms. The sanctuary team is very dynamic so consider follow and support them if you can.

I am late in presenting you my best wishes for Christmas and to release this volume 38 too. I've overworked it to make it as perfect as possible for the King: Finnegan Fox.

Finnegan is the most famous living fox on earth, he made it to all major medias in the world and went many times viral in the internet.
Finnegan was rescued by Saveafox owner Mikayla 4 years ago. He's just the sweetest fox and such a great model. He sure never was on Santa Paws naughty list.

Saveafox has, in just four years of time, saved over 200 foxes, surrendered by fur farms or pet breeders/owners. They need huge support.

This volume 39 highlighs one of my favourite animals on earth : Bats.
And my favourite bat is The Captain, an 18 years old indian fruit bat living a happy and yummy life at Bat World Sanctuary, in Texas, USA.
The Captain was rescued from a zoo in march 2019 where he struggled for space and food. 
He now lives in a peaceful and wide space where he can play and eat a lot. He is the star of the sanctuary, acts on every videos and never living any personal space to his caretakers, moreover if they carry melon, his favourite treat.

Bat World Sanctuary takes care of more than 300 bats rescued from the pet trade, zoos or laboratories. They need lots of support.

This musical project is aimed to promote the fantastic work done by many animal sanctuaries in the world.

Volume 41 highlights 4 foxes living at Pawsitive Beginnings in Florida.
Jasper and Penny were used as breeders in a fur farm. Their pups were raised and killed for their fur. As they stopped having babies they were sentenced to death. Saveafox rescued them and found them a home.
A year after, just a few days after their birth, Coral and Reef got rejected by their mums at the same fur farm. Saveafox found them the best foster mum before they could also reach Pawsitive Beginnings.
And when Penny saw the kids she claimed them. A new enclosure was built so the new family could start to live together.
These two unfortunate parents can now raise two kids in need. The perfect match !

Volume 42 is highlighting Sue, an australian wombat living at Wombat Awareness Organisation based in Adelaïde.
Sue was rescued 8 years ago while she was a baby. She won a big fight against a lung cancer and some other health issues. And now she helps raise the baby wombats rescued by the sanctuary.
Sue is such a character and her sanctuary just bought a new land to save more wombats which will be called...Sue's Sanctuary.
This sanctuary needs help and raise funds to make this dream happen so they need support.

Vol.44 is highlighting a very attaching vixen called Cerise, she lives in Alsace region, France in a sanctuary who carries her name: L'arche de Cerise.

Cerise was found at 1,5 yo and was impregnated, she would search for human contact. In France, owning a fox is illegal. When a fox is brought to a rehabilitation center, it has to be released into the wild. If not, unless finding a place in a sanctuary, it'll be euthanised. Cerise was in that case, so L'arche de Cerise was created for her and some fellows to avoid them being euthanised.
L'arche de Cerise takes care of 6 foxes and is fundraising to secure the foxes enclosures and yards. Any help is welcome.

Volume 46 highlights Ianto, a young arctic fox from a fox and cat sanctuary named Marvellous Menagerie from Minnesota, USA.
Ianto was born in a fur farm in Springs last year, he was saved by Saveafox Corporation while just few days old so he was immediately placed under the special care of the official SAF foster mum. And it was love at first sight.
Not only Ianto was very soon adopted by his foster mum but he also was the first step for a new fox sanctuary creation. And there is already a second resident at the sanctuary, a cool kitty cat.

Marvellous Menagerie is settling in and needs support.

With this volume 47, we are back to 101 Paws and Claws sanctuary in Florida for a very young padawan named Grogu who just turned 1 years old this week.
Grogu was saved while baby from a fur farm by Saveafox Corp. where he spend his very first weeks before joining his forever home.
Fox "kits/pups/cubs" (3 terms are right) usually are born in easter, so there will be lots of fox birthdays to celebrate among the next weeks in all your favourite fox rescues. And surely new babies this year too.

Volume 48 highlights Bianca, a beautiful and sweet albino raccoon rescued by Exotic Pet Wonderland, an animal sanctuary rescuing animals from the exotic pet trade and the fur industry.
Bianca was rescued by the sanctuary a couple years ago while very young, alongside with her brother Bernard. They now live their best life surrounded by many other animals such as foxes, a wolf-dog, a bobcat and some cute feral cats.

Exotic Pet Wonderland could rescue lots of animals in just a few years, they needs lots of support.

MOUSE THE FOX - BELLISSIMA BIANCA - VOL.48 - 22.05.2022

Volume 51 highlights a special little mink named Nicolas who could escape some years ago from a fur farm in Utah where he was supposed to be killed, pelted to end up as a fur coat piece.
After his great escape, Nicolas was fortunately found by the right person who asked for help on a specialised rescue website. And that's how he found his forever home in Wyoming.
And Nicolas sure changed his mum's life as now his home became a sanctuary for minks and ferrets called Mustelid Madness Rescue.

Volume 54 highlights Napoleon, a beautiful fox saved fro a fur farm by Saveafox Corp and who found his forever home at Foxes Journey Sanctuary based in Michigan, USA.
You may recognise in him some family traits with some foxes you already know as Napoleon is in fact Bongo's son and Rowyn brother (both previously highlighted on MTF).
I love it when members of a same family can be saved and i'm glad the 3 boys made it to liberty as their destiny was, at best, to become a breeder for the fur farm or just be killed for their fur.
Now Napoleon is very happy in his forever home.

MOUSE THE FOX - LITTLE EMPEROR NAPOLEON - VOL.54 - 22.08.2022

This volume 57 is super special for me as it highlights Calinka rescued by Handi'Cats, a home for handicaped cats in North of France.
I met Calinka 10 years ago while i was still in charge of the cats in my local shelter.
Calinka was brought to us with babies so we placed her in a foster home.
Her babies got adopted but not her, so she had to come back to our shelter which was very traumatic for her.
Her health collapsed after a few, until she couldn't stands on her feet. She would have died here. But we could find and contact Handi'Cats who saved her and even got her adopted. She still lives her best life with her family.

And this month Handi'Cats celebrates it's 10th anniversary 🥂🍾🎂🎉🎶🐈

MOUSE THE FOX - SWEET CALINKA - VOL.57 - 10.10.2022

We're back to France with this volume 61, at l'Arche de Cerise, to highlight Rouquette, a 4 years old very playful vixen.
Rouquette was found and rescued while she was just 2 days old in a demolished barn.
She fortunately was brought at l'Arche where she spends a very happy life since.
I particularly love Rouquette as she can show many different expressions. You could almost tell at first sight how she feels, just like a living Walt Disney character. And she's often happy, silly, crazy and funny.

L'arche de Cerise takes care of 6 adult foxes who were all rescued and cannot be returned to the wild. Help and support are welcome.

This Christmas edition highlights the smartest fox i know.
Muttias was surrendered to Saveafox almost 5 years ago from the exotic pet trade. He immediately shown skills and signs of uncommon intelligence. So he started to learn many tricks and now he even has his own agility parcour where he loves to exercise and get lots of treats.
Muttias is nothing wild, he's the result of generations of domestic fox breeding. He was unfortunately once purchased and then abandoned before he could live his best life in his forever home.

Saveafox has, in just five years of existence, saved more than 200 foxes, surrendered by fur farms or from the exotic pet trade. They need huge support.

Volume 63 highlights a big kitty. I mean a beautiful bobcat named Savi who now lives at Forced Exotic Animal Relocation & Center For Education based in Florida, USA.
Savi was saved in 2017 from the exotic pet trade by Savefox as a baby. She was fostered and bottled raised by a Saveafox volunteer. Then, she found home in Florida at Critter Creek Wildlife Rescue first, but love was waiting for her in another home. Savi met Lakota, another bobcat, in 2020 at Forced Exotic Animal Relocation so she moved with him.
And her foster mum keeps crossing the country to frequently visit her.

FEAR saves many wild animals from the exotic pet trade. They need huge support.

Volume 64 highlights a real star in the fox fans community named Juniper. She lives her best life in Florida at Juniper & Friends sanctuary.
Juniper was rescued when she was just 5 weeks old as she was desperatly in need of a home.
She was born in captivity and descended from many generation of captive bred foxes, raised for ther fur.
Her lack of wild instinct could not leave her a chance to be released into the wild.
Instead she found the best home where she's the sassy Queen and her best friend is a dog.
Juniper has a strong personality and is very communicative, which often makes her get the attention of medias.

Juniper & Friends rescues many different animals and they need some big support

Volume 65 highlights two beautiful vixen named Esmae and Mala from Saveafox.
I could'nt resist to present these 2 girls as they are just so cute on this picture.
Esmae and Mala were both rescued by Saveafox from the exotic pet trade.
Esmae shared for a time the same play yard as Franny, Winter, Foxx Foxington, Waverly and Ianto, all already highlighted.
Esmae is pretty dominant, she would not get along so well the other Vixen.
But this was before Mala came. They immediately became best friends and they now live a happy life.

Volume 66 highlights a very special dog called Smurfette who lives with other handicaped dog at The Fowler Herd, which is not a sanctuary but a personal initiative.
Smurfette misses one back leg and she was in a pet shelter in Canada, where her mum adopted her back in August 2018.
Being handicaped doesn't stop Smurfette. With or without her cart, she won't stop moving, playing and enjoying her life.
But when she rides her personalised cart, then nothing can stop her !
She will jump over or run through every obstacles with no fear, she is a source of inspiration for all the Fowler Herd's followers.

MOUSE THE FOX - SMURFETTE'S WILD RIDE - 05.03.2023

Volume 67 is a very special as this week was the 3rd anniversary of Walking Wild Rescue, a fox sanctuary based in Ohio.
And this cute and very sweet fox named Fiddle is all responsible for its creation.
Fiddle was rescued at just 4 weeks old from a fur farm. When he was old enough, he was adopted in a family who already owned a fox. And this is when his new parents life completely changed.
Fiddle's adoption convinced them to actively participate to the rescue of fur farm foxes.

In just 3 years of time, Walking Wild Rescue became the largest fox rescue in U.S.A. saving 137 foxes, three wolf dogs, two coyotes, a skunk and a raccoon.

Volume 68 counts you another hard story with, as always, a beautiful ending.
Malika and Mishka are best friends for a few months now. But they weren't meant to meet. They were born in different countries and would have stayed were they lived if the worst had not happened. At more or less the same moment last year, they got hit by a car, and they both lost their back legs. But, just after they became heavily handicaped, they won a golden ticket for one of the most "formidable" rescue in this world named Le collier de perle.
When they recovered from surgery, they both took a plane and crossed a sea. And they became best friend from the very first moment they met.

Volume 70 highlights a super sweet 8 years old fox called Ruin who found his forever home 4 years ago at Fox Friends Sanctuary in Florida.

He soon became a very affectionate and funny buddy. A very happy and friendly fox.
Unfortunately, last May Ruin was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma and he's carefully monitored since then. 
His sanctuary does everything for him, and Ruin returns the helping hand by being a very patient and efficient educational fox on some occasions.
Ruin is loved and he deserves it.

Fox Friends Sanctuary INC rescued many foxes and needs some support and help for its expenses.

I'm super happy to highlight on Volume 70 a very special fox.
Felix is a Saveafox resident. He's smaller than the other foxes in his yard and he used to be annoyed by some.
But Felix found peace by learning an unusual skill for a red fox.
Unlike grey foxes, red foxes can't climb vertical trees, but Felix learned to jump up and scale a very high tree in his run yard. He can barely reach its top.
Saveafox team even installed him a tiny house and an little elevator connected to a platform to lift him his food.
As he's smart, but also shy and elusive, Felix is one of Saveafox fan's favourite.

Saveafox is currently shutting down a fur farm to rescue 500 foxes from a certain death, huge help is needed.

Volume 71 is super special as it celebrates the 4 years anniversary of Walking Wild Rescue, a fox and wolfdog sanctuary. We also celebrate this month the 14 years birthday of one of the sanctuary resident : Cogsworth.
This old boy was rescued just 2 years ago from a tiny cage in a fur farm. 
Yes ! He spent 12 years in a cage and was used for reproduction.
But since he was rescued he could live his best life. You can see him on the cover picture proudly showing one of the very first toy he could play with, 2 years ago. He is an example of courage, hope and resilience. 
I hope Cogsworth story and also the music can help anyone who could need it.

Here is the first set of MOUSE THE FOX music collection.

First volume is a Downtempo playlist from the years 2000 which i listened for years.
It was fun to re-do it today even if these beautiful violin and piano melodies could sound a little depressing. It's actually the music that immediatly came onto my mind when i thought about this project as it matches with my feelings when i think about all these poor innocent animals dying in fur farms.

So Mouse is a grey fox who needs to be cured for a genetic weakness.
This treatment will be initiated for the first time on a fox and if successful, could save so many animals after.

I really hope you will enjoy this trip back in the years. It is an good occasion for the helders like me to remember lots of good memories from the past, and for the youngers to discover a genre which inspired a lot nowadays music and maybe find some inspiration from it.

MOUSE THE FOX - TRIP HOP ALL STARS - VOL.15 - 05.05.2020

Welcome to MOUSE THE FOX music project. 
A side project from a cat dj you may already know.
This project is aimed to promote the fantastic work done by many non profit organisations and animal sanctuaries throughout the world.
One by one these sanctuaries will be highlighted here with a tribute set to one of their most charismatic rescued animals.
You will find each sanctuary details and some relevant informations about them on the sets descriptions, which will allow you to follow and support them.
This project was originally built to help a little fox called Mouse which was in need of an innovative treatment to cure a major genetic weakness and promote the sanctuary who rescued her: Saveafox Corporation. 
Since Mouse had to join the fox paradise, her spirit still inspires many people around the globe, and leads me to work hard on this project.
So i hope you will enjoy the music and show some support and help the sanctuaries presented here. Maybe it will also convince you to volunteer in shelters or sanctuaries near you, as i did myself for many years.
On these days, we face major species extinctions all over our planet, cruelty toward animals and disrespect over nature must be fighted hard daily.
Animal sanctuaries are one of the last visible part of our humanity remaining. 
Don't let them down and please help save all animals that can be still saved.
