In 1988, Juan Martin played some of his own Flamenco compositions in a concert on BBC Radio 3 in a stunning virtuoso performance.
My recordings of this have made it over the years from the original radio to cassette tape, then onto CD, then into MP3, and here I offer them over 25 years to the global digital audience. Enjoy! :)

I'd created a timelapse film of the tidal estuary of Ravenglass on the Lake District coast in Cumbria, UK.
I wanted to show the changing landscape, and as it turned out it also showed the changing weather!  So I created this soundtrack to complement the film, using Garageband on a Mac.

Soundtrack to "A Year-long Walk in the Woods"

Been playing with the Classical Jam Pack in Garageband on a Mac.  Have experimented with changing the instruments from orchestral to electronic/synths and tweaking settings.
Definitely self-indulgent (hence the length), but it's a learning experience.
Probably not your cuppa - not sure it's mine, but it's interesting & fun banging those loops together.
Oh, and hang in there - it builds to a big finish ;)

Electric Capitol

Created using standard loops and (orchestral) instruments from the Classical jam-pack in Garageband.
This is probably my favourite creation - I love the warmth and stateliness of it, and reject out of hand any further criticisms that it's too 'sombre' ;)
Compare to the heavily-modified "Electric Capitol", to show just how much the sounds can be changed in Garageband.

Contains some brass punches reminiscent of John Barry (sad, sad loss) - you'll spot them when you get there ;)
