Marsha, brings storytelling through music & magic. She believes that human beings need music, stories and magic in the same way that plants need sun and rain. She is an artist with a delicate taste and a unique sound who has found her own place in the world of deep electronic music. 

Based in Athens, she is running her own music club project called 'Marsha Invites" and is a DJ producer at Home 89.1 radio station. She is the founder of Deep House Athens and, being a true Yoga lover, she is also co-founder of Music & Yoga Project.

She has performed along with Bedouin, Behrouz, Agoria, Mira, Rampue, YokoO, Nico Stojan, Viken Arman, Armen Miran, Stavroz, Oceanvs Orientalis, Lum, Kora, Kalipo, Alvaro Suarez, Kerala Dust, Mimi Love etc.

Our No. 222 today comes from an artist who has been accompanying me musically more or less continuously for about 2 years. To overhear him is basically pretty really hard. Not only because of his high output and commitment, but especially because of the high quality that can be found in all his mixes. So is the case with ours.

We are talking about kośa who also runs the well-known label Kosa which preferably stands for experimental downtempo that can be classified somewhere between world music and slow deep house. As a solo artist Tarun is very successful on the road. Among other things, he has played at the well-known Berlin club Kater Blau several times.

His recorded mix begins like an ode to the Bronx of the 80s when hip hop played with oriental music elements. As the tape progresses, it becomes deeper and more driving, without losing its slow character. In the process, he reveals a wide range of subgenres...Towards the end, Tarun returns to the starting point, skillfully closing the circle. In his set, he provides equal amounts of release and tension. A perfect formula for an easy-going, danceable afterhour. Fasten your seatbelts...

Unsere Nr. 222 kommt heute von einem Künstler, der mich seit ungefähr 2 Jahren mehr oder weniger ununterbrochen musikalisch begleitet. Ihn zu überhören ist im Grund ziemlich wirklich schwer. Nicht nur auf Grund seines hohen Outputs und Engagement, sondern vor allem wegen der hohen Qualität, die sich in all seinen Mixen wiederfindet. So auch bei unserem. 

Die Rede ist von kośa der zudem das bekannte Label Kosa betreibt welches vorzugsweise für experimentellen Downtempo steht, der sich irgendwo zwischen Worldmusic und slowen Deep House einordnen lässt. Als Solokünstler ist Tarun überaus erfolgreich unterwegs. So bespielete er unter anderem den bekannten Berliner Club Kater Blau bereits mehrere Male.

Sein eingespielter Mix beginnt wie eine Ode an die Bronx der 80er als der Hip Hop mit orientalischen Musikelementen spielte. Im weiteren Verlauf wird das Tape immer deeper und treibender, ohne seinen slowen Charakter zur verlieren. Sarkis is a global ambassador for deep house music based in Los Angeles, and has taken crowds from Miami to Dubai on journeys of physical abandon and inner discovery via his thumping, therapeutic, globally-influenced rhythms and melodies. As founder of Deep House LA and co-founder of the Beatport top-five label NCTRNL, Sarkis has worked to establish a foundational community for deep house through his conviction that the right beats and the right state of mind can heal and transform us. Sarkis’ releases on Sol Selectas, Underyourskin, Dream Culture, Mónada, and other labels of note touch dance music’s subterranean reaches, drawing out the listener’s emotional core through organic instrumentation and synthetic exploration– and his live sets demonstrate deep house’s potential to create community through the movement of sweating bodies and the connection between open minds.

The Alchemy of change - Spirituality can be defined as a philosophy of growth or change, benevolence and compassion. An understanding of a more inclusive interconnected perspective on life. A worldview, or world-experience, of self-improvement with a focus on awareness. It is this understanding of spirituality that also naturally leds to veganism, just as for Sarkis. He started being vegan on the 15th of February, 2016 after watching the Earthlings documentary which changed not only his diet but also his life. „Since I was a kid, I felt guilty eating animals and this freed my conscience like nothing else. Other than the spiritual healing, I’ve never felt physically and mentally better. My sleeping quality improved, my skin color changed, I have more energy and no more migraines.“ 

Many struggle to see the connection and importance of a vegan philosophy within a wider understanding of spirituality. Yet it does not take much, once we let go of preconceptions, to realize veganism is the path of least harm - to animals, the environment, and humans. Veganism is not only a diet, it is compassion and non-violence in practice. 
Remember, there is no seperation between all living creations, in the essence there is no better, there is no worse. We all come from the same source and there is no excuse in violence against anyone of us!

Rising from the land of muses, Anatolia; Mousikē started as a Soundcloud page & private parties in Istanbul. Now it turned into a series of musical gatherings all around the world, which ended up as a vibrant community with a great variety of colours and tastes.
