One of the true pioneers of live disco and dance music in Britain over the last 15 years gets its grips into our mix series. Off the back of their excellently selected curation 12" series on 2020 vision and the banger filled remix series(featuring Gerd Janson, DJ Nature and more) of their seminal "Age Of Ego" album from back in 2019 it has proved that Crazy P show no signs of slowing down. We had a chat with the band about the mix and and what they have been up to lately:

To celebrate the launch of our 2017 line-up, and after 3 years and countless requests we are very pleased to finally release the long-lost recording of one of the most memorable sessions ever heard at the Fort.

On the final night of Dimensions 2014, a huge lightning storm broke out. 
Not knowing how long they'd be able to play, the pair decided to share the decks on the Eglo stage while the weather allowed. What followed was over 5 hours of pure musical joy, an epic journey through disco, funk, house, soul, acid house and everything in between in front of a relentless crowd of very wet dancers.

In 2017 we welcome Grace Jones, Jeff Mills, Theo Parrish, Moderat, Marcel Dettmann, Floating Points, Cymande, Nina Kraviz, Shuggie Otis, Daphni and 200 more to the Croatian shore.

Along with other members of the collective and key industry mentors, Nina Dioz and Shigeto were brought together for a creative retreat at Rancho V studio complex Joshua Tree, California in December 2016. „Alle Tanzen“ das ist das Motto der Brüder Tober & Tober aus Hannover. Simon und Marvin sind nun schon seit mehr als 5 Jahren als Gebrüder-Duo hinter dem DJ-Pult unterwegs. Mit ihrer Party-Reihe „Alle Tanzen“ mischen sie Hildesheim elektronisch ganz schön auf. Musikalisch kann man die Beiden auf jeden Fall nicht in eine Schublade stecken. Mal sind es die ruhigen Downtempo Töne wie beim Podcast für Afterhour Sounds und dann auch mal schön verspulter Techno. Für mich haben sie sich entschieden eine techige, stimmenlastige und extrem groovige Stunde zu kreieren.

Pure FM #16 - Clair De Lune Records - Kraak & Smaak

German duo andhim give new life to their track ‘Tosch’ by releasing a four track remix pack, tapping fellow countryman Roman Flügel to offer his unique approach.

Transforming the original tune, Flügel pitches the vocal hook deeper and highlights the rolling bass melody, flipping the original with a somewhat retro synth-wave motif. The steady beat lies at the heart of the production, but the euphoric tones lift the track to a blissful state.

Having been andhim’s debut record on their freshly minted Superfriends label, the duo have paid special attention to delivering a stacked collection of remixes. Also on the release is seasoned veteran Acidi Pauli, up and coming Zurich based DJ and producer Jimi Jules and German duo Manuel Tur and Adrian Hoffman under their Clavis alias.
