"September 20, 20XX. It's actually kinda dusty in here... pew...

The ascent and descent of Mt. Ebott was a success! Now I happen
to have stumbled upon some purple ruins... There appear to be
puzzles, but all of these have been solved. There doesn't seem to
be any sign of life anywhere. I'll write down anything else that comes up.

"That's... a weird way to put it. So what's a fella like you doing
visiting a lonely old bag of bones like me?"

"I'm just doing a small expedition. You know all of the monsters 
have already gone to the surface, right?"

"Oh yes... yes... But I don't have that much time left in me y'know.
I'll be long gone before I get back to the surface."

"But sir, don't you wish to see the sun, and get a chance to see the
surface once again?"

"Oh... that's a lovely thought I'll admit... but I'd be just as lonely...
My grandsons haven't visited me in years... and nobody passes by.
I occasionally see a small figure peering down at me from far
away at the cliffs. I wave, they wave back... I enter back to my 
house."

"..."

"Well... I appreciate ya stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the 
spaghetti."

"Yes sir, it was quite... interesting. I'll be on my way. Oh, I never
got your name... what is it?"

"Oh, you can call me Old Grandpa Semi young child."

"Whew! I managed to outrun those things! Sorry b'out the change 
in media but my journal was packed to the brim. I borrowed this
phone from a lab nearby. I was about to begin my work, when I
noticed there was no power.

When I looked in the distance, I noticed Hotland wasn't so hot. It 
was covered in dust, and it felt unpleasantly cold. Similar to a 
corpse. I could see footsteps of various monsters imprinted in the
dust from when they made their way out. Well, I'm here for another
reason... so let's get to work shall we?"

Yes, it's that song. In case you don't know, Toby Fox once did a post where he improvised Touhou music that doesn't exist. From that we got three tracks which I will be re-doing in a ZUN-esque style.

So Stage 1... Given it was improvised , there's a lot of variety, but I really liked it. I attempted to give it a Mountain of Faith-esque quality to it.  I also did take some liberties, it's an arrange no?

It's been ages since I've posted something here! I thought I'd kick it off with a PC98 styled original. Yes it was made with soundfonts. But I'm not exactly going for 100% accuracy here.

I always see so many PC98 styled remixes, but never any originals...
Well beside Adventures in Inferno. So I decided to add to this lack
of music by making one myself.
