Movement Recordings welcomes Kris Dur back to the label as he joins forces with AOVA for Cosmic Rise, a three track Progressive House EP that highlights their shared vision for groove driven, melodic and atmospheric soundscapes. A regular presence on the Movement imprint, Kris Dur continues to refine his progressive sound with a release that balances emotional depth and dancefloor functionality. With previous releases on labels such as The Soundgarden, Freegrant Music, Manual Music, Sound Avenue and Mango Alley, the Mexico City based artist brings a seasoned and confident approach to the collaboration. Joining him is AOVA, a rising Mexican producer whose musical identity blends organic textures with modern progressive elements, shaped through releases on Luum Records, Freegrant Music, Droid9 and Stripped Digital. The EP opens with Cosmic Rise, a warm and steadily evolving production built around a rolling low end and crisp percussive framework. Subtle melodic layers and evolving synth textures guide the track forward, creating a hypnotic flow that gradually unfolds with confidence. Designed for long blends and late night moments, the track establishes a solid and immersive foundation for the release. Infinity Sky follows with a more expansive and emotive direction. Smooth rhythmic patterns support floating pads and delicate melodic movement, allowing the arrangement to breathe while slowly building tension. The central break introduces a sense of elevation and space, before easing back into a refined and flowing groove that maintains momentum without sacrificing atmosphere. Closing the EP is Outer Flow, a deeper and more introspective cut that leans into subtle rhythm and textured detail. Anchored by a steady bassline and intricate percussion, the track evolves patiently as understated harmonics and spatial effects shape a late night mood. Its hypnotic progression and restrained energy provide a fitting conclusion to the release. Movement Recordings presents a new progressive house EP from Ellroy with Amaretto. Drawing on a background shaped by Ukrainian roots and a decade based in Montreal, Ellroy returns with a three track showcase that highlights his refined, groove focused approach to progressive house. Known for earning consistent support from some of the scene's most respected tastemakers, Ellroy has steadily built a reputation for delivering music that balances hypnotic rhythm, emotional depth, and club ready functionality. With releases spanning labels such as Mango Alley, One of a Kind, Balkan Connection, Moon Harbour, Dear Deer and 303Lovers, his sound continues to resonate across underground dancefloors worldwide.
