Street Bass icon @StarkBot comes out of left field with his Nonstellar Origins EP, blessing @NightBassRecords with a fresh dose of unique sounds. The multi-faceted ‘Push Me’ comes in first with an off-kilter beat and a menacing bass that carries through into the next track ‘Kelvin Scale’ where there’s a feeling of trepidation in the horror strings and vocal notes. The piano chord progression in ‘Show You Something’ softens up the release before dropping into a grimy 2-step beat. A bit of glitched-up arpeggio and a touch of frantic breakbeats combine into ‘Voidlands’, sealing the EP on a heavy note.
