After a loooong break Movida Record is back with a new compilation.

Actually, we wanted to celebrate the 10th anniversary at the end of 2019, but are now coming back with a little delay with more beautiful pieces of music. Here comes the first summer hit of this beautiful 3-part vinyl series which should also go in favor of the organization Viva con Agua, which is very close to our hearts. 
With a donation to this wonderful organization, we would also like to point out a little bit about this important topic of the water emergency in many countries and make a small contribution to it.

Movida is Spanish and is the English word for "moving"
 
With this first release we have moved something - nobody else than Mr. Robag Wruhme (Wighnomy Brothers) has produced this first one. This track is really untypical for any production which Gabor ever did, but we liked that "dubby" track so much that we really wanted to release it. Maybe the one or other will think back to good old Maurizio tracks  :)
"Lampetee" is a very old Greek "song" with a pretty nice song-text which Gabor packed in that track with so many emotions.
 
We were also happy as we get the "o.k.". from nobody else than Nick Curly to do a remix for us. It has take a long time, but finally the remix is so lovely, deep and groovy that we think it was good choice to wait so long.
 
Last but not least there will be also a digital-only bonus Remix from Matt Star.

A fresh, young & talented artist from Salerno (Italy) brings us a new great EP on Movida records. On “down again” you’ll find deep techno with a lot of soul. bass and groove. Nekes delivered us a hypnotic House bomb with his remix in that typical Oslo-style. For more deepness you have to listen to “moodment” on the flipside and you could feel the love of Giovanni to the music. More to come soon from this nice guy hopefully.

London based Patrizio Cavaliere has been quite busy putting out a couple of awesome tracks within the last years. With artists like Mr. V, Laurent Garnier, Sis or Layo & Bushwacka - just to name a few - all playing his productions, Patrizio has gained himself wide-spread respect & support within the international e.music-bizz. It was London’s legendary underground music scene where Patrizio got “educated” in his early years. He has obviously been a good learner as today he is frequently playing @some of London’s first class venues & clubs. Thus he’s been constantly building up some close connection to various well-known promoters like the secretsundaze-crew or the GoodTimes people. “Devil may care” not only is Patrizio’s debut on Movida Records - it is also his very first appearance on a Non-UK-Imprint up to now.

Looking on the title of Movida006 leaves some good space for interpreting the sound behind the words on the cover … at least there’s one thing that we are seriously certain about > it means that be
