started with a 1960's 2 ft square electric "Orla" reed organ with "lifetime steel reeds" , made as a test soundscape to accompany a scene in Siobhan's "Donkey in a Lions Cage" film where a character stumbles down the stairs of an old block of flats , spilling a pot of some sort of rice and other meal ingredients

Windchime phrase then converted to midi in logic- re arranged with other virtual instruments, then an excerpt stretched and transformed through  through grain settings
in Metasynth, this file then converted to a picture file in Metasynth and visually manipulated and re-voiced by different custom sampler instruments, finally re arranged and mixed in logic-all done as if painting a messy collage... and it might sound like that too!

The Moving image Narrative (MIN) Research Cluster is a practice‐based research group, that investigates the art of moving image narratives in contemporary life.
The cluster draws together an interdisciplinary host of established artists, academics and industry professionals working in film,music,visual,performative and related modes of practice and production. Our Researchers encompass many different views of what makes an image, what is narrative and how we make  images, thoughts and feelings that move ?  How do we inhabit and embody the experience of place , time  and emotion?
What new ideas and methods can arise from the collaboration of ideas,sound,image,movement and their associated disciplines and practitioners?
Members are welcomed to post or re-post their related sound files here (eg soundtracks that are work with or are moving images in themselves, interview files, script readings etc)
