What am I looking at? A pulsar wind nebula! This nebula consists of  energy & particles blown by a pulsar (PSR B1509-58), left behind after a star exploded. Some see in it the "Hand of God". Some see it, some don't. Sometimes I see it, sometimes I don't.
What am I listening to? Another deep exploration into the nebulous realm of space music, created mostly on my modular system, but adding other keys/synths/effects where needed. This year's attempt at capturing something inspirational in audio images. Some hear it, some don't. Sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't.

A New Headspace

When my girlfriend Kirsten and I first got together she asked me to write her a song. This is that song.

After three years together we realized it wouldn't work pout between us, and during an argument I swore I'd never release this song.

In September of 2022 she passed away of a heart attack and we we were in a very good place having just come back from a camping trip. My plan was to surprise her on Dec 27 with the release of this song on her birthday.

She never got to hear it's final release. So, I'm sticking to my commitment.

I hope you enjoy this labor of love and memorial.

This is more of a laid back Lofi Hip-Hop Beat which represents my way of viewing life. My motto is taking time for everything you do but staying focused at the same time for the things you do. This Beat is perfect for Anime Intros or Outros or for a laid back Rap Track. I would love to win this and have some opportunities for my family I'm building! All things pass is a meditation on the concept of ‘transcendence’ and that nothing really is eternal. All life is fluid and everything, from pain, pleasure, death, happiness, union and separation simply flows into the next and passes through. It asks the listener to let the illusion of control be and simply let it pass as, ‘all thing pass’.
The song metaphorically uses the cyclical aspect of life, death and rebirth to bring light to the singular underlying core concept of transcendence.
