This time around I’m about to make breakfast when I get the itch.  I decide on beats for breakfast instead.  Inspired by my recent acquisition of some random records, one of which happens to be 10” instead of 12”, once again on that freestyle tip…a bit rocky in the beginning…but found my flow like usual. For all those who were still pregaming at 8pm when I started things off on side stage...big thank you to the entire Deranged crew who made it possible...bummer about the transformer blowing up and taking out the whole block downtown...but everyone who stuck it out in the dark to see the lights come back and hear the sounds return knows it was worth it...never got to see the headliners (past my bed time and too much Jamo) if they ever came on...but everyone killed it...i was glad to be a part of it...HMANL...well...not quite this round...hehe

Born on the northside of Chicago, always surrounded by diversity in culture and music, first introduced to house music by the late great REP, explored hip-hop with a range of quality characters, and characters that helped build my character. High school gave me Structure, and college lead to the Hands of Time, Surge, (and later Dtale) who teaches the art and importance of digging, chill instrumentals, and let me rock his 12’s with some REAL hip hop…On to the TKEs, where the south side Dichotomy of underground and funky styles kept me dancing til the wee hours, and lead to taking residency in the basement at NIU…next to Mossman…who gave me back the CDJ’s…O’Connor who just know where those 12’s belonged…and VG who knew exactly what track would pump life into the party…most venerable DJ, I love this Fraternity…skate by to Dax Miller, who continued my education with track selection, technique, and production…one of the few on vinyl…grabbing a pledge and grabbing a crate…down the street for a guest appearance…still  improving next to Matthias Darius, the younger generations with Deranged and Afterlife Chicago…bridging gaps with music…HMANL {SML)

Music knowledge comes in handy at work…for marketing….wish I had decks at work and the time to use em…too busy enginerding it up for money…but thanks to the skills and sweet beats of DJ DLux and his suit...i practice in the lab at home…still addicted to house and hip-hop and the art of turntablism…practicing chirps...pushing to improve my practice in the elements…tryin’ to get those blends like butta bitches…hoping that the music will elevate and excite you…the way it always does me…this is a just hobby for me…but a worthwhile one…be excellent to each other…and….
