Now, the gregarious mask-wearing frontlady and songstress from Sarasota’s MeteorEYES, also has Moxie, Moxie—her own recording project. A smattering of dreamy synth, trippy samples, and her trademark killer vocals bring to mind Bjorks early work with the Sugarcubes, with a more modern take ala The Knife or Coco Rosie.

“I use to do [these] experimental recordings when I was in middle/high school with samples off records to my double cassette deck and a karaoke mic I took from my parents’ karaoke machine from the ‘80s,” Fortner said.Fortner channeled her personal creativity via digital synthesizer. 
Moxie, Moxie is a modern-day re-tweaking of those tapes, and an outlet for her future solo writings.

More songs would be posted by now, but MeteorEYES has claimed a few keep an eye out for their newest song.
