Stillz & Psych have been up to no good again making brain melting new wave jump up in their studio. It’s a wonder they actually get any work done considering the amount of experimental goings on that happens down in the basement. Thankfully we managed to bypass the various floating eyeballs and severed fingers and nabbed a few cheeky tracks from the talented duo.

‘Hypnosis’ is as wonky as they come and delivers straight up, no nonsense beats and bass for the whole duration of the track. A perfect name for a tune so hell bent on sending you down the K hole, even if you have only consumed half a bottle of water and some vitamin tablets. ‘Here We Go’ can only really be described as militant. It’s perfect for two steppin’ across the now already rammed dancefloors across the UK, just make sure you’re at least 2 meters apart yeah?

Introducing the Brazilian Acuna to our label for the first time with his brand new single “Don’t Stop” (Feat. MC Spyda). Formerly part of Critycal Dub, Acuna has been building up a solid catalogue of releases with slapping basslines on Chronic and V Recordings of late. You only have to listen to “Get High” with our family member A Little Sound to hear the carnage an Acuna chorus can cause.

Linking up with the legendary MC Spyda – a man responsible for vocals on hits including “Balaclava” with SHY FX and D Double E and “All Ganja Man” with Serum – there’s no doubt in our minds that “Don’t Stop” is going to be certified anthem we hear throughout clubs and festivals this year.

New Zealand's talented Midnight Dubs makes his Codename: RCRDS debut with 'Generations EP'. This jazz, funk and hip hop inflected release opens with 'Improvise Wisely' where catchy vocal samples entwine with rolling breaks, brass and keys to stylishly open the release. 'Generations' moves in a deeper jazzier direction with steppier breaks and rolling bass evoking classic era atmospheric sounds. '

Love Divine' breaks delicate female vocals into the mix before it's sublime intro gives way to delicately edited drumwork, before 'Cloudbreak' works things further along it's jazzy path before we move onto closing track 'One More Forward' which rolls out into a an altogether darker bleep influence drumfunk rollout - perfect for the heads down dancefloors.

An excellent full debut release from an artist to watch.
