First track of the new year, yet familiar nonetheless. 

Ever since getting this new PC all I could think of is "Man, that Misfortune I finished for Etsukko really needs a revamp." And here we are today!

I actually didn't have everything for this revamp, as the original used Kontakt 5 while I have 6 so a lot of the backing, leads and a lot more had to be redone by ear using Kontakt Factory Library. With this, I wanted to capture the feeling of the original without making major changes so I worked from the ground up to make something that's just like the original!

Some fun facts about the original, I was originally just going to finish it and post it here but @blockss and I thought rebooting Etsukko for a few tracks would be fun so it ended up going there. And, the original upload actually isn't all made in the same FLP, they're all different WIP's by @sasterdadudester for my birthday back in 2019 I believe, everything from the Long OD and onwards was completely made by me.

Narrativa para a música: "Miragem".
Composição nº 03 – maio de 1990. 

Começa uma nova era para as minhas músicas. Depois de um longo período de compras e vendas de teclados e equipamentos, comprei o Roland MC-500 MKII Micro composer, o famoso teclado Roland D-70 Super LA Synthesizer e o módulo Roland D-110 Multi Timbral Sound Module. Este incremento na minha "Estação Musical", motivaram-me a voltar a compor, foi um grande investimento. Depois de compor as músicas: 01 SOBREVENTO e 02 DEVANEIO, achei que tinha esgotado toda a minha imaginação para compor, nestas duas primeiras músicas.

Esta terceira música expressa uma agonia sufocante: um guerreiro que se vê sob uma mira, e é ferido, e cai ofegante com o rosto na areia, e os olhos abertos, e começa a ter visões embaçadas e difusas, como se fossem uma MIRAGEM.

Passei alguns dias para me acostumar com a ideia de ter feito uma música de sentido tão profundo. A nível consciente, eu não percebo ter esta capacidade para compor e tenho ficado surpreso comigo mesmo. Nós não conhecemos os talentos que temos, até sermos expostos aos desafios.

Um outro talento que me modificou, e toda a visão do universo e da vida, foi a filosofia. Nunca imaginei que dentro de mim, de origem simples e com ínfimos recursos, existisse adormecido um ser pensante extraordinário, provavelmente é o mesmo que impulsiona o meu "dom" para a música.
