StreetSounds Crucial Electro megamix - Solar Radio

From a historical vantage point, this is a 35 year old Freestyle record that arrived a bit early in 1986.  Rising from the ranks of underground legend to major label deal with Atlantic Records, the Atlantic release took the life out of this track.  Promising remixes fell short and it was a wrap.

As far as that goes, Information Society came out in 1985 with "Running".  On Wide Angle Records.  From Minneapolis.  On both of these originals coming from more of a Punk/DIY standpoint, were classics in their own right.   I put that DIY feeling back into this and it brings back a point in time to 1986 when Freestyle was the underground sound from the streets.
