This is, without a doubt, my favorite LA Dream Team track.  Unfortunately they got a little carried away with the Phantom of the Opera/carnival synth-organ in the original, and even though it's only for a few seconds at a time, it makes me cringe... every time.  So here's my take.  Oh, and the shout outs have been relocated... just because.  Enjoy!

Dennis DEZO Williams featured in OSCAR and GOLDEN GLOBE Award winning film MOONLIGHT, is a Brooklyn New York born, Staten Island raised Recording Artist, Producer and Songwriter.  Dennis DEZO Williams became known during the mid-2000’s for his heavily energetic instrumental recordings that ranged from sample-based Hip-Hop to Experimental Fusion, Jazz, Funk and Dance.
 
Born Dennis Jerome Williams in Brooklyn, New York and later moving to Staten Island, he began making music as early as 12 years old. Recording and performing on iconic Hip-Hop television shows such as Video Music Box as well as in New York clubs and showcases as a part of rap-trio Trilogy with his two Sisters. He Later began venturing off into production. Recording remixes and two critically acclaimed Hip-Hop Instrumental albums BAGELS and DIRTY MUZIK.
 
As well as releasing instrumental singles, mixtapes and critically acclaimed remixes (Rihanna's "Diamonds", Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness), he was sought out by Oscar & Golden Globe award winning film director Barry Jenkins ("If Beale Street Could Talk") to remix for the opening scene of his film Moonlight which starred Janelle Monae and later earned numerous awards including Oscar, Golden Globe, MTV.
 
Releasing a heavily energetic progressive metal single "Save Face" and funk instrumental "Conifftion" at the top of 2019 and now releasing double-single Hip-Hop/Electronic Instrumental "The Bumper" and Vintage Underground Instrumental "Twenty-One", Dezo Williams has a dual-single release series set at the top of each month. He is also starting his "Dezo Beat-A-Day" series on his instagram and facebook platforms. This will all be leading to an official instrumental-anthem album for the summer along with a tour.
