@djgagreflex brings her Sisyphean Rhythms EP to Scuffed Recordings, weaving deftly between weighty breaks and percussive, rolling house across three tracks.

Originally from Seattle and now based in Berlin, Gag Reflex has spent the past few years gathering pace as a DJ in the U.S. with residencies in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco - and more recently with club appearances in Berlin and Lisbon, along with mixes for platforms including Rinse FM, HÖR, and Honey Soundsystem.

As a producer, her work nods variously to classic rave, techno and breaks influences, with a penchant for percussion and dark, oppressive atmospherics. With previous releases coming via none/such, Circa AD and Naive sublabel Naivety, Gag Reflex has gone a long way to establishing her sound and picking up some heavyweight support in the process.

The Sisyphean Rhythms EP features three new tracks exploring different facets of Gag Reflex’s sound - from the intense surge of opener Concussion, to the rolling flow of club tool Spit, and closing with the all-out rush of Valve.

Fresh off the release of his anticipated debut full-length, “Derealization”, issued a few weeks ago on Ego Death, Detroit-based producer Uun clocks in our podcast series to deliver some of his vehemently rugged and dark gospel, and to which effect! With a number of choice releases under his belt for some of the most highly-regarded techno labels out there (MORD, Semantica, Modularz…), Uun is one to indulge in the harsher, choppier side of industrial rhythms, more keen on point-blank bazooka hits than long-distance minimal sniper-ism if he where to choose a side. His RYC mix features the very brain-melting character of his compositions and we’re delighted to count him on board. Innocent souls beware, expect a hail of roaring steel and molten iron all along the way.

As a veteran of the Houston scene and DJ of 30 years he brings UKG Proper a very special mix that is the culmination of his passion and journey through the years encompassing his many loves of multiple genres but never wavering in his love of bass music and continues it as the founder of Soul Bass Project spreading the gospel of bass every chance he gets. M.Parks. started DJing in 1997 in Houston,TX. He initially started buying house records but after being influenced by guys like Andrei Morant, Tim Xavier, and Chris Anderson from Houston he took a big turn into the harder Techno sound. 

After a 10 year hiatus from the electronic music world, he has come back into the scene in Dallas, TX. Over the past four years he has been focusing his energy to start bringing Techno back to the forefront of the Dallas scene. "Its all about Techno and having an opportunity to push the sound here locally and I am honored to represent Techno here in Dallas."
