Recorded on a boombox by Jason Pizzolato & his brother Tracy Pizzolato (R.I.P.) in Soilent Green's practice room in 1989. Songs played at practice:

Bassist Marcel Trenchard did not come to practice that night, so there is no bass guitar on the recording. The band only had one guitar amp at the time (the Ampeg amp that Brian Patton still uses in EYEHATEGOD to this day), so Brian is on guitar on the first two songs, & Donovan plays on the last two. The voices heard at the end of the recording are that of Donovan's grandmother (the band practiced in her garage) & Donovan's first child, who was about one year old.

Mirra - When It's Time

"Cela se sait peu, mais chaque année, le Père Noël fête la fin de sa tournée au Palos Club (Luanda), ce lieu de débauche imbibé d'alcool et d'afro house. Il y a d'ailleurs opportunément placé un de ses nombreux fistons, devenu à force de bourre-pif et de câlins un videur emblématique. 

Surnommé Papa Yeah pour son sens du groove et son style, il est le gardien du sens : celui qui te vire quand t'es bourré, celui qui te ramène à la réalité, bref celui qui fixe les règles du jeu dans ce huis clos vrombissant." 

Ancien agent de sécu, Sauvage FM en a conservé une approche clinique et sociale du dancefloor - peut-être parce qu'il ne boit pas d'alcool. Une sobriété qui lui permet de poser tranquillement les questions qui fâchent : dans quel contexte les gens se comportent-ils le plus mal ? dans un club ou au boulot ? Et où le respect s'apprend-il ? 

Chaque nuit, au Palos Club comme à la Calle ou au Passeport, on ne fait rien de moins que redéfinir le bien et le mal. Sauvage FM distribue les munitions et les bisous, puis regarde les gens s'entretuer et s'aimer, à l'abri de la tempête qui broie les hommes au-dehors.

Mirra - the Moscow musician, one of the most promising on the Russian extravagant electronic music scene. Artem, brought up on Dutch Happy Hardcore and UK Breakbeat Hardcore since the childhood, has managed to pour the soul even in such, apparently, rigid and uncompromising style as Breakcore. His music is full of melody and vital energy, constant aspiration to experiments and a drive - he perfectly feels a present rhythm, combining in reasonable proportions idm, drum'n'bass and breakcore. It can be safely told - Artem has opened his own new style - romantic breakcore. In January 2007 appeared his first release on label Acidsamovar - AcSa003 Mirra - Never Knows Best. Mirra became the first in Russia who has let out the breakcore release on a vinyl record. In this year Mirra has time to let out hit composition Firefly on vinyl Various Artists, and as some compositions on various collections and digital labels (Make shift). Rare music capable to exhale so much positive emotions!
