Ithemba means hope and is inspired by my life´s story as a musician... When one patiently waits for his/her dreams to come true.

The title, Phuma means "Get out". It is sung in a South African language, isiZulu and a bit of Xhosa. It is meant to inspire freedom to the soul of a person by talking away or in this case, singing away negative thoughts.

Through prayer and meditation on the bible, we find strength. This song is a reminder that we can recover if we choose to look at the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and the life of victory that He has delivered to His church.

Mpho Ludidi is a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in the year 2020 with his song, As One. The song is meant to inspire love and forgiveness. He is now residing in Sweden since the year 2014, as a singer-songwriter. 

Over the years his Afro-Soul which reflects the Xhosa and Zulu folk music of South Africa with extracts of Blues, Afro-Jazz, Gospel, and Soul music has left an impact on the hearts of the Scandinavian people.  

He has been featured in other artists' albums as they have recognized his voice and skills in songwriting. He was featured on Sebastian Stakset's album, Genom Vatten och Eld, and is currently working on his Gospel album and hopes to bring a unique sound to the genre with a fusion of Afro-Soul and Neo-soul.
