I first came across Pushmann when I was buying records and started to notice his stellar productions. Proper underground hypnotic groovy techno. He has had releases on some quality labels, most notably in 2021 on Jeff Mills' Axis and Kaiser's KSR. 

He has an album coming out in May 2022 on Matterwave Records that includes remixes from Ben Sims, Alexander Kowalski, Head Front Panel and Jeroen Search. Can't wait.

I am all about quality mixes above all else when it comes to choosing my guests and Pushmann has really delivered here. It's not often that a mix really blows me away, but when I came across "Pushmann @ Tresor (Berlin) 22_02_2020 (Closing Set)" (available on Pushmann's Soundcloud page) well that mix blew the socks right off my dainty little feet!! Go check.

This mix is a result of weeks of intensive digging. An expression of the lighter colours to get through a difficult time of being unable to connect deeply with others during the long windy and wet winter. Some of my best friends have also left the city to return home and it's going to take a lot of getting used to. I'm hopeful of what the future brings, even if we are living in such uncertain times. I hope these musical memories also brighten up your day. Dance till the sun rises.
