After 15 years of shaping Hungary’s electronic music events scene, Technokunst proudly unveils its record label. The inaugural 12” kicks off a series of collaborative releases, featuring some of the collective’s favourite Artists. Each release in the ‘Split Series’ will consist of both original tracks and reworks.

The first EP brings together Rrose and Luigi Tozzi for a dive into very deep waters across four cuts of mental Deep Techno. These are functional, floor-focused workouts — built for keeping the floor moving through all phases of the night.

Known for his deep, hypnotic, and mental techno, Alderaan has released music on renowned labels like Warm Up Recordings, Pole Group, MindTrip, and Planet Rhythm, with remixes by Oscar Mulero, Stanislav Tolkachev, Svreca, and Pfirter.
As a DJ, he has been a key figure in Argentina’s underground scene and has performed at clubs like Tresor (Berlin), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Audio Club (Geneva), Cassette (Madrid), and Laut (Barcelona), among others. He is also the co-founder of Danza Nativa and the creator of his own label, Decay of Reason.

Gothenburg-born DJ and producer Mohajer brings her galvanizing spirit and sophisticated cuts to the series with a 73-minute release. The Swedish veteran and key member of Fast Forward Productions has cultivated over a decade’s worth of sounds from her Berlin base and provided the soundtrack for her mp3 parties as co-founder and long-running resident, as well as for gatherings across a spate of clubs like RSO, Tresor, Berghain, Fold and Basement. Her productions play with her Persian heritage and a blend of electronic music genres to bring a fresh and uplifting take to market: a sensual and bustling mix of driving techno with a heavy focus on community building and human connection. Her dynamo beats emerge from her deep understanding of a dancefloor’s energy, and render obvious her quick-witted feel for music and people. Her forthcoming EP on Spray’s Punctuality Records twists that palette into something bold and elastic: a confident cascade of mystique, mayhem and sensuality. Championing a sound both rugged and trance-inducing, Porto-based Brazilian producer Marcal clocks in this week with two hours blending future-proof warehouse rave material and claustrophobic 4x4 maneuvers. Hot on the heels of his latest ’Nature of the Future’ EP on Donato Dozzy and Neel’s imprint Spazio Disponibile, Marcal takes us on a mind-bending ride down raucous sine-scapes and brooding, verbed-out atmospheres, constantly pushing the envelope of techno as can be experienced these days. Resuming its course as a means for transcending our (currently much gloomy) zeitgeist, techno here gets back on its revolution-friendly tracks, finding its second breath as a metamorphic tool for blazing new paths and routes towards a better, more intelligently designed world. There goes a mix that summons the very finest of Marcal’s boundary-pushing vision and killer knack for crafting memorable and emancipatory floor narratives. Brace yourselves.
