First release of the new label Poetry In Motion Music comes by the hands of Werkshy, Sidney born but London based artist who got already important releases on labels like Guesthouse and Midnight Riot.

The EP contains 2 original tracks plus a tremendous remix by Mexican producer 4004, with releases on top labels such as Fogbank or Quintessentials.

“Everyday” it’s a dancefloor killer and it has everything to be defined as the summer bomb: groovy rhodes, a powerful vocal and a deep message. Hands in the air because the sun is shining!

4004 remix has that deep house heat, with a dance inducing groove that will make you sweat while you are moving like Jamiroquai at the club.  

“Everybody” instead it’s an hypnotic-disco-house-dancefloor-filler, with its catchy melody, pumpin bass and jazzy trumpets!

Shir Khan continues his flurry of activity with another release in as many weeks. Obviously preparing us for a Summer of shoulder-swinging debauchery, the Black Jukebox pumps out another set of terrace friendly twonkers for the masses, with Freiboitar and Hurlee taking charge of proceedings for number 23 in the set. "Blew My Mind" and "What's Up" are Freiboitar's offerings; both pumpin', new funky house numbers with intricate sample choppage and wonderful, speaker-teasing mixing and mastering. Hurlee's trax take up side B with "On The Floor" and transforms it into a loopy and fuzzy deep house gem. Finally "Disco Love" revisits another joyful moment of disco and funky house history, adding its own interpretation on a hook that's familiar to anyone that's spent more than a fleeting moment on the dancefloor. Strongest Shir Khan for a while this one pop pickers - don't be late to the party!

After their Butterfunk EP from last year, @justsayfouk are back again with their new offering “Mating Call EP”. As the name suggests, this three track EP is made for the hot & heavy moments while dancing away, during those infinite summer days.

The title track “Mating Call” is a funky beast, driven by a very infectious bassline and live instrumentation, edging the line between disco and house, as has we have come to expect from the duo. The next track on the flip furthers the fact that this release is all about the groove. Housey vibes with a classic hint, Rhodes floating on a solid rolling funk bass. “Just Feel Good”? Yup!

Finally we come to “Down Below”. You might wonder “what’s down below?”. Well, there you can find a dreamy thumper, driven by the compact kick, repeating drone and deep bassline, while the synth pads in the middle tie it all together.
